Purchased this to replace another Shedrain umbrella although this is smaller snd manual. My other Shedrain umbrella with vents was about 18 months old and the automatic mechanism wouldn’t keep the umbrella open. I then happened to notice that there was a lifetime warranty. After sending a copy of photos, a replacement umbrella was shipped to me at no cost. I am keeping my manual umbrella that has a different use primarily because the lifetime warranty was honored at no cost for the other umbrella. The reviews and videos that show up for this umbrella are incorrect. This umbrella is flimsy and the metal rod of it bent after a slight gust of wind blew by. Almost small enough to put inside your purse the quality is good and functionality is nice and smooth and gliding into the umbrella. It is not any more wind resistant than they normally are. Color is black as expected.

I love this umbrella! I bought it for the many rainy days I have in my town, and so far it has worked wonderfully. The pink is very bright and a gorgeous color, which is a nice pop on gray rainy days. It is sturdy after about 20 uses, and a very convenient size. Can fit easily in a coat pocket or backpack water bottle compartment. It doesn't leak at all and all the metal spokes are in place still. I like a manual umbrella since automatic umbrellas are often hard to snap closed and dangerous to open. I never had a problem during a month of Europe travel with this umbrella. Sturdy and compact, and better than the cheap manual umbrellas found in drugstores. I would buy it again.
