4c type hair-here. My hair loves this stuff. This product is a staple in my hair care routine. I do believe that there’s a science to using it or maybe I just lucked up. But I first use a clarifying shampoo to cleanse my scalp and hair. Followed by the Shea Moisture Jamaican black castor oil shampoo and conditioner then I oil my scalp with blue magic add a generous amount of this leave in on my hair then lock everything in with blue magic again and put a protective style in for a few days. Around the second or third day I spray (more like drench) my hair with a mixture I created in a spray bottle, water, this same leave in conditioner and a few drops of the mielle tea tree oil, apply a little leave in and blue magic on top and call it a day. My hair is now so manageable and it’s retaining its length. I also developed really bad dermatitis on my scalp after I had my baby and now my scalp is healthy as well. The media could not be loaded. 1. Product Overview: As a leave-in conditioner, I hoped this product would keep my hair moisturized, frizz-free, and soft. While it did some of these, it left a slight cast that needed extra brushing. When applied to wet hair, it created minor frizz. 2. Texture and Scent: The creamy texture glides onto hair easily.
