This conditioner, formulated with Jamaican Black Castor Oil and fair trade Shea Butter, helps to nourish, moisturize and support elasticity to resist breakage when detangling. Conditioners provide a protective layer that improves the appearance of dry split ends. Peppermint stimulates the scalp for an invigorating experience. Apply to clean, towel dried hair. Work a generous amount of product into hair from root to ends. Gently comb through for even distribution. Do not rinse. Apply additional product as needed depending on hair length and condition. 4c type hair-here. My hair loves this stuff. This product is a staple in my hair care routine. I do believe that there’s a science to using it or maybe I just lucked up. But I first use a clarifying shampoo to cleanse my scalp and hair. Followed by the Shea Moisture Jamaican black castor oil shampoo and conditioner then I oil my scalp with blue magic add a generous amount of this leave in on my hair then lock everything in with blue magic again and put a protective style in for a few days. Around the second or third day I spray (more like drench) my hair with a mixture I created in a spray bottle, water, this same leave in conditioner and a few drops of the mielle tea tree oil, apply a little leave in and blue magic on top and call it a day. My hair is now so manageable and it’s retaining its length. I also developed really bad dermatitis on my scalp after I had my baby and now my scalp is healthy as well. I bought this when my other leave-in conditioner was discontinued. I do like this product a lot, but it can weigh down your hair very easily if you're not careful. Keeps my hair very moisturized.

    • Good But Overwhelming Scent
The media could not be loaded. 1. Product Overview: As a leave-in conditioner, I hoped this product would keep my hair moisturized, frizz-free, and soft. While it did some of these, it left a slight cast that needed extra brushing. When applied to wet hair, it created minor frizz. 2. Texture and Scent: The creamy texture glides onto hair easily. The scent is so strong it fills the room as soon as I open the jar, with a minty, vanilla-apple cider fragrance rated at 5/5. Personally, I found it overwhelming, as I prefer lighter fragrances. 3.
