The air in our house is so much cleaner and Chrisp. My daughter and I have asthma and difference is extremely noticeable. The only thing I wish I knew before I purchased it was that the air back into the room is cold so if you’re sitting near it, wear a blanket. When we are cooking, the machine runs higher and louder than it would if the air quality was better than your snack cookie so as soon as you buy a candle and or if you’re cooking and putting the bad stuff in the air, it runs a little louder, but it doesn’t last too long but other than that, it’s extremely quiet. We noticed that we are sleeping a little more sound at night versus being stuffed up. Haven’t noticed much of our any of our allergies. It seems those have settled since we have gotten this about two weeks ago. It is the larger one, but I guess I don’t really have any complaints about the size of it because it fits right next to our front door and right next to our couch. It’s not in anybody’s way..

I live in a home built in the 1940s. The basement is more like a cave, plus smokers lived here for decades before us. Prior to moving in, I scrubbed every inch, replaced flooring, painted, and placed smaller air purifiers in the bedrooms. However, I wanted something bigger for the main part of the home, and since every Shark product I've owned over the years has been wonderful, I was drawn to this. I put this in my living room, which is next to my kitchen, dining room, foyer and play room. It works incredibly well in such a large area, and believe me, I have put this thing to the test. I compared it with other purifiers I have in the bedrooms, and I tested it in my bathroom, as well as the basement. When I cook or clean, the air quality percentage drops, and works its way back up. The dust collection on top of the machine alone lets me know it's doing something, but now, when I leave my house for the day and come back, I'm not hit with the musky smell I use to be greeted with! I also have two cats, and I've noticed much less cat fur when I dust. Yay for that! The air purifier is quiet and easy to use, with convenient controls. It is larger in size, but it's super lightweight, so I can easily move it when sweeping. I was weary about ordering a refurbished purifier, and now, after 5 months of use, I can't recommend it enough.

Works great and is very sensitive. I’ll play with it a little but was bbq’ing (smoked meats) outside and it caught whiff of it and was just running. Great product received very fast.

We bought a refurbished one, it came looking brand new, in all new packaging, unit has some minor fan noise as it ramps up and down, but seems to clean air well when we were bombarded by lots of wildfire smoke, kept air fresh and clean

I’ve been using the SHARK UA205 Nanoseal HEPA Air Purifier MAX for a few months now, and let me tell you, it’s been a game-changer! My allergies are a thing of the past, and the dust in my house is noticeably a lot less. Considering the size of my place I’ve been pretty impressed. The air quality has felt much better and the filter lasts quite a long time compared to other air purifiers I’ve had in the past; so I don’t have to worry about frequent replacements. That’s a huge plus! In short, this purifier is a must-have for anyone looking to improve indoor air quality. It’s quiet, effective, and works great for larger spaces. I love this little guy! I have a dog, and when he’s been running around in the sun, he can get a bit smelly—sometimes my whole apartment ends up smelling like sweat. But when I turn this on, you’d never even know there’s a pet in here. It’s super quiet, too. If I’m cooking something like salmon or fish, it takes less than 30 minutes to clear the air. I also love that it shows you the air quality percentage before and after—it’s super satisfying!
