I am literally in disbelief with how amazing this product works. I have not used the wet mode yet, but im already a huge fan of the dry mode. I was using the tymo hair straightener before and it took me about 30 minuties. Before that typical flat irons took me almost up to 1 hour. This took me 8 minutes to do. Type 4 hair. Wanted something function but It shuts off during blow drying which can make blow drying my hair a real issue. Take a while to cool down. I heard of this in the reviews but I tried for myself and it’s not doing its job. This product is not ready Cute color yes Weight is ok but awkward to hold Not worth the money Should have another attachment I don’t recommend this wait until they make changes. This product is actually the best thing I’ve ever used. Blows the Dyson and a regular straightener out of the water. To have one tool take my hair from wet to dry to straight is a HUGE game changer. 10/10 would recommend. Also to note my hair type is NOT straight. It is wavy and thick!!

I've had the Shark SilkiPro Wet to Dry Straightener + Rapid Blow Dryer for about 6 weeks now and I'm not 100% satisfied with the results. I'm accustomed to using a hair dryer with a round brush then using a flat iron so I was hoping this ONE tool would take the place of TWO, but it really doesn't. First off, it weighs 13.5 ounces, which doesn't seem like a heavy tool but when you're holding it above your head it starts to feel heavy by the 4th or 5th pass. Secondly, it's awkward to hold. The unit itself is 12" without the cord, and the width at the widest part is 2.5". That in combination with the weight makes it hard to handle when you have to make several passes from roots to ends. Third, I found it's best to use a regular hair dryer until hair is mostly dry THEN switch to the Shark. Even using this tool at the mostly dry stage is labor intensive and my arms felt fatigued quickly. Overall, it DOES work. It straightens hair as advertised but it's large and bulky and not easy to store if you have a small space. The pink color is pretty and the tool feels solid but the price of $249.00 (price at time of this review) feels steep for a tool that is clumsy, heavy, and inefficient. ... show more

Overall, I like this heat tool, however, for those with really thick coily hair, it may not be the best. I find that it constantly shuts off due to over heating (while my hair is still wet). I had to switch to my trusty blow dryer to get my hair dry, then use this for the flat iron part. I love the comb attachments for getting my hair bone straight and shiny though! The pink color is sooo pretty! I would get this if you have fine to medium hair textures. Not sure if this is worth the cost for my particular hair pattern. It might be user error, so I may update in a few more weeks once I get more practice. ... show more
