Have been using this for about 18 months now and it’s still working well. I have one on both levels of my home. It’s quiet and easy to maintain. I was a bit concerned when I saw negative reviews about it not working after a filter change, and the same thing appeared to happen to me. We purchased two of these for our 2400sq ft home. One for upstairs and on for downstairs Clean air! You just got to love it. We live in a historical home and lots of wood floors. Seems older houses just naturally attract more dust but these air purifiers keep the air fresh and clean. Even during cooking the air purifiers will kick in and clean the air. They are super quiet on Auto which is where we leave it. The fan will increase automatically when necessary, so need to go higher. At full fan they can be loud but not obtrusive. ... show more

I’m 100% certain the particulate monitor only measures larger particles because there are non visible allergens in the room I sleep in but the air quality showed 97% on start up. I do feel the air is crisper and I like shark equipment. Even on high the machine is quiet compared to others I’ve tried. Attractive and mostly unobtrusive. When my cats play near the machine the air quality drops but I have it on medium to medium high and it quickly raises again. Running the ceiling fan it dropped but the raised again after a short while again. Shark had a 2 year warranty so I’m happy about that. Filter is easy to replace, couldn't be easier. Wife and kids have allergies. With this air purifier they don't need to take allergy medicine like before we this.
