UPDATE 4/5/2025 — I am so mad about this product. I did mention it wasn't the best quality, but I had no idea it would damage my unit. I was using it one day and it overheated my flexstyle. I turned it off, and allowed it to cool off, when I went to use it again, it would last less than a minute on before it would overheat, and it would make a sound like something was broken. I washed the attachment and let it dry for a whole day, went to use it again and it did the same thing. Thankfully, my flexstyle still had manufacturer's warranty, so I was able to get a new one from Shark, but I ended up throwing away this attachment because I didn't want it to fry my new one. -------------------------------------------------------- I bought this product for the first time a little over a month ago. After using it around two times I noticed that the attachment felt loose which wasn’t the case with the other attachments I own. I requested an exchange, thinking it was the product sent. Only to get the new one and it just felt the same way. I’m honestly scared it’s going to break and considering the flexstyle was already an expensive product, spending $30 more for something that's going to break isn’t a good thing. The bristles also fall out a lot. I feel like I’ll need a new one in around 6 months from the amount of bristled that fall off. This attachment needs to be fixed. I’m definitely not pleased with this purchase.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love the Shark FlexStyle Round Hot Air Brush Attachment! It makes styling my hair so much easier and gives me a beautiful salon-style blowout at home. It adds volume, smooths frizz, and creates soft waves and curls without needing multiple tools. The brush glides through my hair easily and helps reduce drying time while leaving my hair looking shiny and polished.

If you have the dryer, and have shorter hair, you need this!

The other oval brush that shark flex style used to have is not super great for shorter hair. I have thick, neck-end length hair and I'm so glad shark listened to feedback and created this actual round and smaller brush attachment! It also helps dry the roots better! My hair looks so awesome after using this. It takes me ~20 mins to finish doing my hair from fully wet to beautifully styled. If someone is new to using a round brush hair dryer, take small chunks and take your time, use the cool shot once your hair section is fully dry to set it, you will get better with time, my hair looks just as nice (if not better than) a salon blowout. Cons: plastic bristles are kind of long and poke your head, but not a big deal. Also, I wish they had this one available and I wouldn't have bought the larger, oval brush attachment - that one is better for longer hair.

This attachment is the perfect size for me because I have shorter hair but it doesn’t seem to be as durable as the standard attachments that come with the dryer. From the first time I used it, it would get pulled out no matter how big of a section of hair I used on it and when it is attached it wobbles a lot. I can see myself replacing it very soon, which I don’t want to do, but like I said it’s the better-sized brush than the standard oval brush.

I'm very pleased with the results I'm getting from the Shark FlexStyle in general. I purchased this as an add-on because the oval brush that is included with the dryer usually doesn't meet my needs. I think this additional brush works and fits well but it could have a better price point. I think it's worth about $10 less than what I chose to pay. I am giving this a 4-star instead of 5 stars because - on the products I have ordered - all the Shark FlexStyle attachments that contain bristles lose their bristles pretty easily. I've lost one or two single bristles every time I've used the dryer. I found this surprising and disappointing, considering the prices they're charging for everything in the line. I definitely don't want to complain about the whole thing: make no mistake, the dryer works very well and the attachments are easy to use.
