I recently started using the Shark Air Purifier with NeverChange Air Filter Technology, and it’s been a game-changer for my room and home!!! Right out of the box, setup was simple no complicated instructions or extra parts. The air feels noticeably fresher within just a few hours, and I love that it quietly runs in the background without being distracting. The Never Change filter is a huge plus. Knowing I won’t have to constantly replace it for years makes the purifier feel like a solid investment. The 5 year HEPA filter also gives me confidence that allergens, dust, and pet dander are being effectively captured. It covers my living space really well, and I appreciate that it works efficiently without consuming too much power. This purifier is the best and hits the sweet spot between convenience and performance. It keeps the air clean, is low-maintenance, and fits nicely into my home without being an eyesore. For anyone looking for a reliable, long-lasting air purifier, this one is worth buying not just considering!! The best on the market!!! And the fact that you don't have to change the filter is definitely a game changer and is another reason why I had to have this one! Of course every 6 months or sooner I'll wipe it down but you can't be not having to continuously buy filters after filters! You will love this! Great gift for a housewarming party as well!

We purchased this air purifier when all the smoked from Canada was coming into the US. This kept our house smoke free. We love is as we just had our newborn baby girl. This was a must have to keep the air clean the noises is minimum unless you have it turned to the max airflow we have two dogs and it does a great job keeping the smell low and the air clean. The size is not too big. It is perfect. You can move it around just fine and it can auto sense your air and turn on and off automatically and increase or decrease airflow. This is a great air purifier. I would love to get another one for our other rooms. When cooking this kicks in right away and filters your air immediately love that feature no smoky home smell

I LOVE it! I bought a refurbished one because I have had good luck in the past with other (not necessarily Shark) products. It is still returnable for a bit if there were any issues with it of which there are none so far. Arrived on time and well packaged. Super easy to get going. Basically, you drop in the included Odor Neutralizer (instructions are on the little package that that comes in), plug it in, turn it on and you are in business. It could not have been simpler. I smoke in one designated area of my home and have two dogs. By the time my husband came home from work it was impossible to smell any smoke odor. It’s like a miracle. Noise level is minimal. I was lucky to have a place to put it where it is pretty much out of sight but can still be heard. Once it detects that the air needs to be cleaned it will automatically work a little harder and create more noise. If you have a Shark Robot vacuum, it is about that level. As it cleans the air the noise level decreases and it can barely be heard. Is not even loud enough when it is working its hardest to have to turn up the tv. I’ve only had this less than a week but, honestly, it is probably one of my absolute favorite purchases for my house. I highly recommend.

The air purifier arrived a little earlier than expected although the tracking was not helpful. We ordered the refurbished model as it was nearly $150 less than new. So far so good. It’s only been 2 weeks but it is working as advertised on auto setting. It keeps our air quality at 100% easily and can hear it kick in to manage cooking odors. It is very quiet and we only hear any noise if it has to operate on high which is seldom. The refurbished model only has a 90 day warranty so hopefully it lasts as well as new. Would have preferred a written manual but it’s only available on line. Overall we are pleased with the air purifier but this is the first refurbished product we have purchased so are waiting to see if it is worth the savings.

After a couple of weeks of using the Shark NeverChange Air Purifier Max, I’m impressed with its performance. It’s a powerful unit with some standout features, but there are also a few things I wish were different. Here’s my in-depth review. Performance – Impressive Air Cleaning Power One of the biggest reasons I chose this purifier was its ability to clean up to 1,400 sq. ft. of air per hour—and it delivers. The built-in odor neutralizer is also a great touch, helping to keep the air fresh. What really stood out to me was how well it handled smoke from my wood-burning fireplace. The moment it detected the smoke, it kicked into high gear and cleared the air without hesitation. That level of responsiveness gives me confidence that it’s effectively maintaining indoor air quality. Cost Savings – A Long-Lasting Filter with No Subscriptions One huge perk of this purifier is the 5-year filter life. Unlike other brands that require frequent and costly filter replacements—or even force you into a subscription plan—this one is designed to last. That’s a huge cost savings over time! Usability – Auto Mode Needs Some Tweaks While the purifier works well, I noticed a small issue with the Auto Mode. When the fan is off, it takes a lot of dirty air buildup before the unit starts up again. This means that instead of maintaining consistently clean air, the purifier waits until the air quality worsens significantly before reacting. A more proactive approach in Auto Mode would be a great improvement. Design – Functional but Bulky This is where my biggest complaint comes in. My wife jokingly says it looks like a modern-day propane tank, and honestly, I see it! While it has a futuristic look, it’s a bit bulky and doesn’t blend seamlessly into our home. I personally would have preferred a sleeker, more slender design that complements modern interiors better. Final Thoughts – A Solid Choice with Minor Drawbacks Overall, the Shark NeverChange Air Purifier Max is an amazing air purifier. It has great performance, efficiently cleans large spaces, and works exceptionally well at removing smoke and odors. The 5-year filter life is a game-changer, saving money compared to brands that require frequent replacements or pricey subscription plans. However, Auto Mode could be more responsive, and the design could use some refinement for a more seamless fit in modern homes. If Shark develops a sleeker, thinner, and more refined version of this product in the future, I would definitely be interested in checking it out. Despite these minor drawbacks, I love the Shark brand, and this purifier is a strong contender for anyone looking for high-powered air purification without the hassle of constant filter replacements. Would I recommend it? Yes—especially if you prioritize performance and cost savings over aesthetics.

The title says it all! I've been through 4 other air filters and all have NOT lived up to their claims. Im a smoker but my wife is not and she has mild issues with her sinuses. I've designed and installed a air system that removes the air in the room and blows it into the attic. But the vents are in the ceiling so we still need a good filter system down low. I had been looking at the SHARK unit for few weeks and decided to take a chance. After I hooked it up and went through the quick and easy instructions I turned it on the AUTO function and let it do it's thing. My wife returned home from work and asked if I had been outside all day. I said no and that I had been inside, and asked her "Why"? She said that she didn't smell any cigarettes or stale smoke smell. This filter is definitely worth the money! It does a great job removing fine dust particles and it's very quiet. It's amazing how good it works compared to the size. It's small for a entire house filter. It picks up kitchen odors 3 rooms away. And cleaning the pre filters is super easy and makes the main filter last much longer. Dollar for dollar, this filter is probably the best unit I've had the experience of using. And it saves you money because you don't have to buy a new filter every 3 months.

While I rarely write reviews I’m going to on this one. This is a refurbished unit, I knew that when I was purchasing it. What I didn’t realize is that checking elsewhere would have saved me money and I would have gotten a better unit with a remote for about the same price. The unit itself works well. There is a smoker in the household, the main reason for this purchase, and it scrubs the air adequately. It takes awhile for it to work, that’s normal. The odor neutralizer helps in this area, that’s a cartridge that inserts in the top. It is very quiet on the low setting but does have a white noise effect on the higher settings. The model is some what large but works fine in the corner with adequate air flow. It has a sleep timer that I use at night. Overall it’s been a few weeks and it’s a good product.

Overall we really like this system, I ordered a refurbished unit and initially the bottom was just open I believe to remind you to prep filter. This came in a plain box but was mostly ready to go and had a small odor module which I cant imagine works as well as a carbon pre-filter as only a small percentage of air passes this. That said the unit has two removable and cleanable panels which I like better then a traditional pre-filter. Maybe a carbon covering should be available for those for odors but all in all system is large and quite if you dont turn it up to full speed. So it moves volume of air without a ton of noise at normal speeds. The air quality sensor I believe is mainly geared towards particles and I would prefer the machine run continuous and as such will be running it this way to keep house air better. We have a dog and air quality was very poor. I dont like that the base with filter comes off so easily, it should have a lock so I docked one star for that and the tiny odor module, but other than that this unit is a very practical solution and can save on 5 years worth of filter replacements with its washable screen design. So while upfront the cost isnt cheap its a solid unit. Now that we have run for a night air is much cleaner!!
