Ok, I was excited about going back to using a coffee maker instead of pods to save money. I have a few issues 1) the shape of the carafe makes it difficult to pour all the water into the holding tank. It’s wide mouthed and difficult to get all the water out. I put the coffee in the basket after pouring the water to avoid coffee being in contact with the few drops of water. . 2) The machine makes the coffee fast, but it is not HOT by any means. It’s luke warm. I need to micro the coffee several times to get it hot. The brewing light goes off after brewing, but the coffee can not be enjoyed directly from the carafe without heating. 3) I am going to try to pre-heat the water for the carafe before brewing. Unfortunately, this defeats the purpose of setting the timer to be ready for coffee in the morning. . Not feeling it for this machine, but I threw the box out so I’m stuck with it. Edit: I must comment that the customer service performance for this product was exceptional! They responded promptly to my review and proceeded to deliver a professional and satisfactory resolution. I highly recommend the customer care behind this product.

There are several things to like about this coffee maker. I really liked the stainless steel carafe. I also liked the fact that I can adjust the brew strength to “strong” which is how I like it. It is programmable up to 24 hours in advance but I did not test this feature. I liked the pause and pour feature. It makes you wonder why this wasn’t standard in other coffee makers. I liked the fact that this includes a filter. No paper filters required. I do wish it made 10 or 12 cups. Overall, This makes a great cup of coffee and looks great on my counter.

My old coffee maker started to go out on me so I was in the market for a new one. One day while browsing Amazon for coffee supplies a suggestion displayed for this 8 cup programmable coffee maker with a stainless steel carafe so I decided to order it. Once it arrived I was eager to have my first cup of coffee. The machine is very well made with a stainless modern look which includes a vacuumed sealed pot to keep the coffee warm for long periods of time. After my first brew the coffee was quite good, I used the strong brew option so it comes out nice and dark. The stainless steel pot stays warm for a long time and keeps the flavor contained. I did have a tough time figuring out how to get the coffee out of the pot as its sealed, but after a few tries I notice there is a push down tab on the pot so you can release the coffee. So far after a couple of weeks its working fabulous.

We used the coffee pot for a 2 week, and are pleased with it. It does keep the coffee hot, but will maintain the heat better if you let hot water sit in the pot before you run the machine. We pre-warm the pot, before filling the coffee maker with cold water for the brew. Empty the pot before turning on the brew cycle. We have noticed we need to use the strong brew cycle to get the coffee taste we like. Where you pour the water into the machine is rather small, so you have to be careful as it can get into the un-brewed coffee ground area. I am using a long spouted pitcher to pour fresh cold water into the unit. Setting the clock and timer for the machine was easy. The pot keeps the coffee warm for a while and allows me to set it on the table so my husband can pour his own cup and I can actually eat breakfast without having to get up to fill his mug several times. I am no longer afraid he is going to hurt himself by breaking a glass carafe when he tries to make coffee himself, which has been a fear of ours as I do not want him to cut himself or fall on a glass carafe. It has now given him a goal to return to making the daily coffee by himself again as he use too for the two of us. Parts are easy to clean and I am overall pleased with the unit.

Only running for a few days now but it seems ok. It brews coffee. The thermal carafe is a great feature for the price, but it pours a little slowly and tends to drip through the top if you try to rush it. And would it kill them to add a little beep diode to alert me when the brew is done?

I am disappointed in the thermal carafe. The first two cups are hot, after that it’s LUKEWARM. I like to go out on my patio to read the paper and have my coffee and this did not help any to having to come back in and warm my cup The maker itself is very quiet and nice, but still not recommend

I actually loved the coffee it made. The warming plate did not come on. I used a 8 cup measuring container (64 fluid oz) and the max 8 cup line was 48oz (6 cups). I filled the carafe and measured and, again, only 6 cups!!!
