Previous commented on this buffer being high speed. I went back and watched a video and read the booklet. Seems there is an adjustment wheel on the handle, right where the cord comes out. 3 being low and 6 high. 3 will still sling stuff around so be prepared and wear and apron.

    • Suitable for beginners or occasional use
The polisher works fine for small detailing jobs and includes plenty of pads. However, build quality feels a bit cheap and vibrations can get tiring. Good for beginners or occasional use, but not ideal for heavy-duty polishing.

Pads aren’t the best but the buffer is decent for the money. Overall, 9/10! Oh, be careful if you’re detailing plastic fenders or panels (ex. motorcycle, atv, etc.). Stay on a low setting. Plastics get hot quick compared to metals and aluminums. This isn’t a random orbital so it will get hot on you.

Product is as described. Fairly robust polisher for all detail work. Variable speed is fine. Switch needs to be pushed in and then slid along and the switch stays on even without finger on it. Love the switch, ignore the other reviews. Have not tried it at task yet but I am not worried at al

Lowest speed is still too much, wished it could have been dialed down a bit more. Other than that this machine has helped out in tight areas.

    • Nice little buffer
This is a nice little buffer, I can’t imagine how anyone could burn paint with it, but I suppose if you try hard enough if you could. Or it is working perfect for buffing old motorcycle bodywork. I particularly like the extensions that come with it and the pads were quite well. You just need to not be afraid of it. I will agree the on off switch sucks. Apart from that everything seems to be fine, just make sure that you crumble up the pads or wash them first and they will work much better for you. I do wish there was something in there that told you which pad was for which type of compound or process. ... show more

THE WORST! It's super heavy, super bulky and super noisy. I have a known brand that cost just a tad more that's quieter, smaller and hardly noisy. Geez - back to the stone age! Mini polisher? No! Huge, heavy, noisy polisher!
