Below is my original review. The company has since saved me by offering to refund my purchase price or send a replacement. I've had this unit for 5 weeks and it has been shutting itself off in the middle of blending for the last week or so. **Before this, the unit worked so well! It was so much quieter than my older blender and my iced coffee was so smooth** It will blend just fine and then it will suddenly just stop for some reason. The light doesn't come back on either. So I pour what I can into my old blender to finish the job. I've checked my outlets and my breakers. Everything is fine so I have no idea why this is happening, By the next day, it usually works again. But I don't know how long that will last. ... show more

This is exactly what I needed. I love the two sizes for when I want to make something quick for myself or a larger batch. It does a great job with ice and frozen fruits! I haven't had any poor performance effects such as the motor getting hot, letting off an odor, and failure to blend well. I love that the dial lights up when it's on and also that it has a pulse feature which is easy to use. One teensy complaint is that I have a bit of a hard time getting the lid on... almost as if it's just a little too big, but once you get it on, you know it's securely in place! No worries about smoothie on the ceiling or on your cupboards. :) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The main draw for me was that it seemed it would fit under my counter. I wasnt totally sure because there wasnt a lot of info about the fully assembled dimensions. Overall the info that I was able to assemble included: * 52 oz pitcher, glass * 7 in DEEP 8 in WIDE with handle, and seems just under 16 in TALL * 1200 watts, ?? rpm (not sure on rpm) * 4.2 stars overall * Wash with soap and water inside (probably coulddddd go in dishwasher but blades would dull) * Overheat protection - no mention * Overload protection - no mention * Pulse, 1 and 2 * Stainless blade * Comes with small personal cup and separate blade cap for it Will update review after some time using it! ... show more

Had switch troubles with first blender. Shardor honored their warranty and replaced blender after two simple email requests. I also see they improved the silicone gasket so it can be removed for cleaning much easier. No problems with the replacement blender.

It had good functionality, good ratings, and good looks. I have been happy with it, until now. I almost bought a 2nd one. But in only 6 months (and we were barely using it twice a week may be), a plastic portion in the bottom of the jug (the blade assembly) broke off, and so it started leaking. We have tried glue a couple of times, but it does not stay in place; very disappointed. I like that it has 1200 watts of power because that way I can do my favorite caramel Frappuccino everyday. Also I like that it is easy to clean because you can either add some soap and turn on the blender , as well as separate the blades form the glass jar for a deeper clean. Lastly, I like that it has a secure lock in order t be able to use the blender. This is a product that is worth buying :) ... show more

Blender works great. It is hard to clean because liquid gets caught under gasket which needs to be removed from blade cup in order to get dry
