I ordered a couple of binders / waist trainers to prepare for and recover from hernia surgery. This is one of the ones I tried. It ended up not being suitable for my precise needs at the moment and so I returned it, but it is really an excellent waist trainer! It was top-notch quality, very well-made, and the various levels of closure made it really, really secure and smooth-fitting. It even smoothed over my flared ribs! If I ever need a waist-trimmer or "corset" for anything, I'll definitely come back and get this again. My stats: I am 5'5", 135lbs and trim except for a slightly fuller tummy area from a moderate to severe diastasis. I generally wear a clothing size S or 4-6, but ordered this in a M. It might only be because of my tummy, but it was a bit of a battle to get this hooked up—I'd be curious to see how a L fit by comparison. Once I got it fully hooked and then zipped though, it fit beautifully! My tummy was flatter than it has been in decades, and I had a very decidedly graceful (not grotesque) hourglass shape. The design of the boning pulls everything together in the most flattering lines possible, and the tiny bit of stretch actually makes it comfortable too! Just FYI, I spent years doing historical reenacting, and this reminded me a lot of a Victorian-style underbust corset, but more comfortable with a "made for me" kind of fit. Very comfortable!! I’ve worn many waist trainers and this one is my favorite! It’s good for a long torso and I love how the back is raised over your bra so that there’s no muffin top. Quality is great! Does not feel like cheap material at all. It feels smooth! Stretching it is not a problem, easy to put on. I thought that after you hook all the hooks, you can zip it up easily, but that part I found was tricky. However, there are additional hooks to help the zipper zip up smoothly and after I hooked those, the zipper went up just fine. Definitely recommend!! ... show more

Got this as a Dausd waist trainer dupe and boy was this worth it. Good quality and sturdy material. I love the three different hook levels as well as the zipper for extra security. The only downside is the torso area is too short so if you have a long torso it’s not going to cover everything. The shortcomings of getting what you pay for. I was surprised that at the price, this waist trainer's quality is great. Nicely constructed and the zipper goes on and off smoothly. I like how it comes lower on the front and gives me compression on my little pooch. It's also higher on the back, which helped the back fat not show so much. This waist trainer also helped me with my posture. And the way it made my waist look...Wow! I haven't seen my waist so tiny since I was a teen. Although I have all these nice things to say, I only gave it 3 stars because it gave me a rash. While I was wearing it, I was fine. I didn't feel anything. But when I took it off, there were rashes on the sides of my stomach which started to itch really bad. I had to rub some alcohol on it and put hydrocortison cream to help. I really wanted to keep using it, but no way I would put myself through that type of itch on a daily basis. Maybe there's another one out there better for me, but this one ain't it! ... show more

Its honestly so comfortable in compression to alot of the waist trainers i’ve had. Obviously it’s tight and does its job but it feels comfortable.
