Every gardener struggles with encroaching weeds. They’re hard to keep up on and make yard tasks much less enjoyable. My husband and I bought a rural property 10 years ago, and we’re just now getting to the lawn. It’s been daunting clearing ground (we don’t want to use chemicals), but I started seeing tools similar to this on social media, and at this point I figure anything is worth trying to make the task easier. It’s a smaller tool, it’s no more expensive than buying a new trowel, and it’s really sturdy. This tool is strong enough to hold up against our soil, and our home sits in an ancient river bed. The handle is super comfortable to hold, and man does it get the job done. We’re getting back into garden work and updates for the year, and that includes recreating the path we’ve cut for cobbling. It is over grown with clover, stray grass seed that escaped the lawn, and dandelions. The prongs on this scrape through the packed earth easily and bring a majority of the roots out with the plant. I’d say that with this tool I was able to clear out a 2’x2’ section of path in less than 10 minutes. I’m sold. I will always have one of these tools around now.

This tool is the perfect size for me, was a great price, and has been very helpful weeding my front yard. It would’ve gotten 5 stars except it bent way too easy. I’m still using it bent but will need to replace it before next weeding season.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well-made this weed removal tool is. It’s incredibly sturdy, and the best part is that it pulls out weeds with the entire root intact. I was shocked at how effortless the process was—it would have been impossible for me to remove them any other way. I didn’t even have to water the soil before using it, and it was still fairly easy to pull out the weeds. If you need an effective and durable tool for your garden, this one is definitely worth it!

It's not at all difficult to use, but it is a little scary until you get used to it. Well, I found that to be the case, anyway. I have found it to work best on grasses and slender stemmed plants in moderate handfuls. It's easy to sharpen, though it holds an edge well. The wooden handle is sturdy and comfortable to the hand. I use it often.

I loved this tool before the handle separated from the blade. It’s sharp and makes digging up weeds easy. Unfortunately one weed got the better of it and separated the tang from the handle. Tang is about an inch maybe 1.5 inches long and not secured to anything inside the handle. Gonna try Gorilla Glue on it.

I was able to work up a bunch of weeds and grass in a little raised bed garden that hadn't been tended to in years - very easy to work up and go through the weeds. I would definitely recommend this product. Nice and sturdy and the perfect size.
