It's like a very large bath mat, not an area rug. The backing does have nonslip grippers which I love. Nicely padded. Can be hard to vacuum (stuff gets stuck in the long fibers) but does stay put while doing it. You can see the rows of fibers easily. Chanelle type feel. Super soft. Deep color saturation. Keeps my feet warm and off the hard wood. For the price I paid I'd order again

This is a adorable! And crazy soft on the feet...The colors are perfect! a very soft dove gray with muted white mixed in. Now, this is NOT a rug in the traditional sense, there's virtually no structure to it, more like a light weight bath mat. Im afraid if it were in a high traffic area it was basically dissolve.. BUT, I have it at the end of my bed and I love it, Looks perfect!

This rug is a nice rug. However with what i received it seems someone double or triple taped this but adding the tape and removing it. Once i removed the wrapping with the tap all the bottom of the rug was damned and the side of the black part were pulled up. This was a heavy duty tape that should not be used. I had to leave the tape on to prevent further damage

This is a chenille rug. I was hesitant to open it as it comes shrink (read compressed) in a cube. It did not feel heavy enough to be what it claimed to be. It is a foam backed chenille rug. It's not terrible, but if you are looking for a traditional shag, this is not it. I decided to keep it because I will probably get $50 use out of it, but this will not last a long time. The first thing the instructions tell you is not to wash it. This is evident in the bald ridges that are immediately apparent. If it lost any more hair it would be a problem. So if you are looking for cheap chenille to last a moderate amount of time, buy it. The color is great and the look is not bad, it's just not a lasting purchase.

After reading these reviews I was like “okay it’s a $45 rug, it can’t be that bad.” It’s not! For what I paid for this rug and for how long it will last with kids and pets you can’t beat it! It’s stupid soft, cleaned up easily (my kid spilled bbq chip crumbs all over it within minutes and it cleaned up fast!) you can’t beat it. It’s a bit thin but again- not the end of the world. It’s a great rug for the money. End of story. You couldn’t find something this soft and plush for that kind of money ANYWHERE. Area rugs usually START at $99 so take the $45 and ENJOY! :)
