    • Installation is a bit troublesome

have just one thing to say - the quality is excellent. However, there is one flaw: the installation snap. It can be quite challenging to snap it on correctly, especially when installing a very long blind alone. It's best to have someone help you with the installation to ensure the snap is aligned properly. If you encounter difficulty snapping it in place, it likely means the angle and distance between the slots and installation snap are not precise. The manual is also lacking in detail guidance, need to watch the video instructions. Overall, the end result is not bad, but I strongly recommend optimizing the installation snap to make the process less laborious. ... show more

    • Overall nice shades

I purchased these shades for 10+ windows in my home. Overall, they were relatively easy to install after watching the YouTube video--the included paper instructions weren't very specific or helpful. The only thing I really had an issue with was getting the shades to snap into the brackets, which took quite a bit of force. The good thing is that I'm relatively confident they won't accidentally come unsnapped. One other minor issue is that it is really difficult to get some of the shades to stay unrolled to the length that I want--they tend to retract on their own. I tried following the trouble shooting tips of rotating the gear in the top right corner, but all that seems to do is retract or unroll the shade--it doesn't seem to do anything to the tension, which is what needs to be adjusted. Perhaps there is a trick to it that I haven't yet figured out? The shades, overall, though, look really nice and I am pleased with the outcome. One warning, though--the listing notes that the shades can be installed from top, side, and end--this is inaccurate. They can only be installed from the top no matter whether inner mount or outer mount--end and side mounting are not doable at all. This was disappointing as I have three windows that are arch-style. Thus, I'll have to reorder a larger size shade and do an outer mount which I wasn't wanting to do. ... show more

I received 22 cordless blinds and successfully installed all of them. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue with two of the blinds as they won't stay down. I had traditional, old and dusty blinds that I damaged one day by accidentally tugging too hard on the cord. These are a much higher quality replacement! I give 3 stars for easy installation only because the paper instructions were not as clear as they could be, so it took me several tries to actually mount the blinds onto the brackets. The results are excellent though, very visually appealing, and probably easy to clean if/when dust were to accumulate. ... show more
