It's beautiful. We've zero regrets. Keep in mind it's not an expensive frame... plan accordingly so that you don't mess up your upholstery (it's leather looking and soft butter leather feeling but I'm sure it's a pleather of some kind, certainly the answer is in the description) as you're putting it together. Be gentle and it'll be just fine. As for how solid it is or if it'll hold some weight... it's absolutely solid and will definitely hold at least up to the recommended weight. Myself, my husband, and our 12 year old daughter all 3 hang out and watch tv together on the bed, and not once have I thought it would fail us. We bought a 14inch mattress to go with it, it's perfect... the height of the headboard is adjustable so if you go with a smaller size it'll be perfect too. No boxspring needed, and you're not sitting on the floor or even too low without it either. 😅 It was very easy to follow directions... just be very mindful of the direction of things as you put them together and you should have no issues. 1 person could totally put this together if they're problem solvers, but 2 would get it done much faster and much easier, it will take some time to get together. ... show more

This bed is just about perfect and very sturdy. Excellent for the price. It arrived with no damages and was easy to assemble. The drawers are big and hold a lot of clothes, etc. It's occasionally weird that the drawers are literally not connected and just roll underneath, however, once they are weighted down a bit with items being stored it's actually nice that you can easily get them all the way out of you need to rather than dealing with drawers on tracks. If you're using a regular mattress, you might want to get a box spring or some other base, (you would probably need to adjust the headboard up a little) but we're using a 12" mattress and it works great. Very well made and the instructions while I did take a long time were very thoughtfully put together. All items has stickers on them identifying which part they are. The headboard is really nice too me have a nice material as well as the footboard I guess my only gripe would be about the four drawers. They kind of just sit on the floor and don’t line up with a track or anything. They could’ve built some kind of a track not just the wheels on the bottom, cause they kind of come in and out from underneath the bed a little wonky a couple of bucks more could have put rails in but , I can live with it. ... show more

Needs a box spring bc it's too low as the other reviews stated. Also as other reviews said if you have nightstands on either side the 2 drawers by the headboard is clogged up and will need to be moved to get to the drawers, not a deal breaker for us so that's ok bc I rather have those inches in the inside of the drawers. Pretty and love the drawer space, so I added 2 more stars. Headboard is so low and small and squeaky if touched by pillows. Will have to diy something later, maybe take off the headboard and make my own but keep the bedframe I think is the best. I would still recommend it bc it does work for us for now.
