Super easy to assemble! It only took me about an hour maybe less to put it together. uses a hex key that is provided to assemble everything. Seems super durable, and is off the ground in the perfect height. The headboard which I got in black is a nice dark black that matches easily with the black bedding I used.     • Solid, attractive, and makes my mattress feel new again.

First, you really need two people to put this together easily. Me, my son, and a cordless screwdriver with an Allen key bit took a bit over 2 hours to build it, but a half hour of that was untightening screws and then fitting in pieces then re-tightening the screws. It says clearly in the directions not to overtighten screws until the end, which being two men, we ignored. It doesn't look like it's going together right until the end, but then it all straightens out and comes together. I was able to throw away my box springs and just put the mattress on the slats. It's super supportive and comfortable, and I've had nothing but great night sleeps. It's also a great looking piece in the bedroom. Gives a warmth and coziness to the bedroom overall. ... show more

Looks nothing like the picture. Very cheap looking. You can’t even see the upholstered design and the headboard is very flat. I bought this for my daughter and son-in-law. I wanted to return it, but they would have to pack up and bring to my house because they would not pick up from another address. They also didn’t have box to return because they threw it out.
