We ordered the gray full sized bed for our 4 year old who was recently diagnosed with leukemia. His previous bed was high off the ground so we thought this would be easier for him to get in and out of when he isn't feeling well after chemo treatments and so he doesn't have bed posts to stub his toes on since injuries are a concern right now. I’m giving this a 4.7 out of 5. It’s very sturdy with the exception of the plastic clips, more on that below. Pretty easy to put together (1 hour minimum, don’t care your skill level. There are a lot of pieces) it ships in two boxes, thats nice for carrying up stairs. I’m going to doc .1 points for package being ripped when it got here. Also will doc .2 on the flimsy plastic clips that hold the wood slats. On the last slat at the very edge of the bed, it broke since I like to put my socks on while sitting at the edge. Other than that, looks very high end, doesn’t make noise or creek and just tall enough that my robot vacuum will fit and sweep under it. Overall I’d by again! Also I would recommend good tools putting it together, do not use the silly wrench they supply as its useless. Also last thought, I really love how the head board overhangs just the right amount that it allows it to clear almost and base board heater. You will not regret this buy, also expect the boxes to ship on different days. ... show more

Sturdy low profile bed that's a good value overall. I feel like some reviewers gave this unjustly bad reviews out of their own failure to read all the info the seller provided on this page. So here is my honest review of my experience. Delivery was 6 days late (FedEx) the seller was apologetic and helpful so I do not fault them for that. The box arrived with some damage from shipping but the product was well packaged and not affected. -Instructions were legible. -Wooden support slats were inside the velcroed back compartment of the headboard as the item's webpage description said. Tips: You will need 2 people to put this together mostly to help hold parts as you drill. You will need a drill for the 6 feet, and the side wedge that covers the metal support plate. Do not tighten screws until you have all the sides together, especially the brackets. If you have a memory foam mattress you might want to purchase a bunk board to increase it's lifespan. Pro's-Sturdy with a nice modern look. Extremely low profile which is exactly why I wanted it so that my small dogs can safely get on and off the bed without injuring themselves. No more ugly inconvenient pet steps taking up space. I like the pillow/neck support the headboard provides while watching tv or reading in bed. It's the perfect angle. Affordable price. Con's-The headboard can adjust but it's less than an inch difference so that's disappointing. The only quality issue I had was the center wooden support beam's holes were inconsistent. Some are off center and all are a different distance apart. Although the wooden slat's support the mattress firmly, I do not recommend using them. They are 4" apart (several of mine are more than that) which will cause sagging and decrease the lifespan of your mattress. For the low price and sturdiness of the frame though this is an easy fix. I intend to buy a bunkie board set with fabric between the slats. Because of the ribcage slat design I cannot recommend this out of the box to heavier people. If you get a bunkie board then hell yeah it's gonna hold up. All in all I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this frame to anyone who wants an affordable, solid, modern styled, extremely low profile bed. ... show more

    • Looks good, Will not last - will make a preacher cuss!
***UPDATE AFTER 1 YEAR OF USE*** We are getting rid of this piece of junk. The slats are cheap and break. Lots of plastic and the hardware is not meant to last. After only 1 year, we are having to purchase a new bed. Do not waste your money! Original review right after assembly: Know that it is lower to the ground than the advertised images makes it seem. Just know, it is VERY LOW to the ground. Assembly is not fun! Plan on 2 people and 3-4 hours easily. A small drill would be helpful, but is not necessary since they send you all of the parts. This will make you cuss, but hang in there. (Ask for forgiveness later lol.) We have assembled lots of furniture. This one is trickier with all of the many parts. It gets easier though. The instructions are so-so. There are TWELVE STEPS! Trust me, you will count down after each step!!! Step One and Two are the hardest to comprehend, but once you lay it out it will start to make sense. After you get the first side done, you simply replicate the same thing on the other side. This has LOTS OF PARTS! They ship long pieces in long boxes anyway. Why can’t they ship it mostly assembled?? CHEAP. They can’t make it that easy. Good luck. Grab your knee pads, water bottles, and patience! Your fingers will be sore from tightening the MANY, MANY parts! A small drill will help save your fingers, but they include manual labor tools that will work. This might take a beginner 5-6 hours to assemble. Make sure you start early in the day. Hoping to sleep like a baby after all of this! It looks good. It feels sturdy. Only time will tell if it was worth it. We are happy with the end result though. The media could not be loaded. The bed is beautiful. I only have two issues with this bed. The first one is that I had to go on you tube to figure out how to assemble the bed the instructions that come with it are horrible. The second one is that in the picture it doesn’t look like the bed is so low to the ground. My mom is short and if you look at the picture she struggles to get out of bed because of how low it is. Other than that ones you figure out how to put it together it is fairly easy to assemble and looks very beautiful. Definitely can not put more than one mattress to make it higher ... show more
