Having it out the butter is always soft enough. I love having that cute little knife handy all the time. The size is PERFECT because it fits three sticks of butter at least. This thing is durable too, I mean don’t drop the main thing on the floor, but having a lot that’s wooden instead of ceramic is great and the main dish is super thick. Beautiful, Functional, and Keeps Butter Perfectly Fresh

I purchased this butter dish because when my extended family was staying at my home, they accidentally broke our previous dish. The dish they replaced it with was way, way too small. Love it, just one small flaw…

I love the look of this butter keeper, and it keeps a nice seal. My only complaint is that the knife on top doesn’t stay in place. It would have been once for it to somehow click into place and stay there instead of falling off when you take the lid off.
