Before finally choosing this particular laptop, I compared models from about every merchant and company that retails laptops. I had a few basics which were prioritized. Included was a decent screen size, workable GIG's of RAM (at least 12, preferred 16), Windows-11 (which requires specific models and brands of processors and resources before it will load), contact points for items like mouse (no batteries), USB-3 including the "c" model, printer, DVD player, Celluphone charging, etc etc. Based on my original "requirements" I decided on this laptop from Amazon. Link: [ SGIN 15.6 Inch Laptop, 24GB DDR4 512GB SSD Windows 11 Laptops Computer with Intel Celeron N5095 Processor ] Now for my personal customer review of this laptop: It was shipped quickly, arrived nicely double-plus packed to guard against any possible careless handling. That was the first impression, telling it had been packed by someone experienced in commercial shipping and definitely knows what they are doing. After getting it out of all the packing and taking a look at it I read the operator's manual before even plugging it in to charge the battery. The manual was simple, as it should have been. When the battery was full, I activated the laptop and was impressed with its speed of starting, considering all of the security measures that Microsoft built into W-11. It took me awhile to complete setup of the Microsoft-11 OpSys, because I am rather specific on what personal information I allow others to have or "use". McAfee loaded quickly. To simplify my review of this laptop computer: If the very best review grade of any component or the operation of this computer is a "five", then every piece of this SGIN deserves at least a five, and for the RAM provided on a laptop it deserves a "ten". I find absolutely no fault with it at all. And just for information; I do have five nice desktops built by myself, three working laptops plus two other laptops I gave to family. All have Microsoft plus a secondary Linux Mint OpSys. I just wanted to see if I would like Windows-11. Answer: A definite "Yes". ... show more

My HP was becoming nonfunctional, and I needed something new, primarily for writing. Laptop turnover is so rapid, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I focused on reviews. I'm so glad I did! I've only had this for a couple of months, but so far it's been great! My only gripe is the keys are a little noisy/clacky but that's not enough of an issue to take away a star. My CIS college student laughs every time he laptop because having spent a fortune on his equipment, he can't believe the deal I got on this lol ... show more

This is such an awesome laptop! It is fast, lightweight, and very powerful! I got it for my High Schooler who needed one for back to school. I was reluctant to try this laptop because it wasn't a "name brand" like most are accustomed to buying. When I saw the specs (i.e. 24GB/DDR4/512GB /SSD/Windows 11, etc.) and this laptop was under $400, I had to give it a try. I am so glad I got it! My old "backup" PC (what I keep in my office next to work PC, but distinct from primary laptop in the LR) died after 5 years but I was tired of hauling my primary laptop room to room, so went looking for an affordable PC that covered my bases, and this was it! It came well packaged, everything needed with it, and booted right up into the setup. I'm still adjusting to Windows 11, but it seems fast and very customizable. To date I've just used for various browsing activity but it's been trouble-free. I'm probably at 10-12 hours of use. Haven't installed anything but Office and printer drivers, but that was easy. Wifi setup was intuitive. My only issues which seems to be the case for most laptops these days are the keyboard layouts. It always takes me awhile to adjust to where the keys are, but that isn't the fault of the seller nor of the laptop. This might actually become my primary as my old primary seems to be getting slower. But my son is also eyeing it, so we'll see.... In short-- if you're looking for an affordable PC for light use, for kids use, or backup use-- this is a great option and worry-free! ... show more

I have been pleasantly surprised with this laptop! It is quick and easy to use for my day to day needs. I do not use it for gaming so I can't comment on how it would be for that but I have enjoyed using it for everything else!

Never heard of the brand before. Ive had this lil puppy for a few months now. Runs great. I play rs3. 7 days to die. And stream shows on it. Great for the price and does everything i need it to do.

I’ve had my new laptop for a little over a week, and I’m so impressed! It’s an amazing value when you consider the outstanding specs it carries and comes equipped with Windows 11! Since my computer needs are pretty basic…web browsing, light streaming, simple business and household tasks, etc… this computer handles all of that with ease with the assurance of more should other needs arise! It has received consistent, high ratings and I can see why! I did grab a wireless mouse, as well, since there are times I prefer that to the mouse built into the laptop, and that has been really nice to have both options. The wireless mouse was instantly compatible right out of the box, too! Overall, this computer has been a complete joy, and I feel very blessed to have found it! On a sidenote, I have two college-aged sons, and I wish I would’ve known of this affordable option when preparing to send them off to college.
