I was shown this product during one of my hair cuts, and I love it. I have tried about every hair product for short to medium length hair, and this one is by far the best. It smells great, and works perfect for the person who wants a semi shine look without the gross flakes you get with hairspray or gel. It is a lotion type product that will also moisturize your hands while you apply it. It's much better than a balm or a wax, and it allows for great control of your hair though out the day. It only takes a small amount to style my entire head. HOW I USE IT: I use about a dime size portion and put it on my hand and rub my hands together then apply it to my hair evenly. I like to use it a few minutes after getting out of the shower. That way my hair is still damp, but has had a few minutes to air dry. It makes it easier to shape my hair the way I like it, while still giving it a little of that wet hair look all day long. If you like the drier look let your hair completely dry first. PROS: Holds Great all Day Lotion Like Texture (Don't have to wash your hands after, just rub it in like a lotion) Does not leave your hands or hair sticky or gross. Smells great! This stuff isn't amazing but it has its perks. I usually go for more of a texturizing putty to give more volume to my hair as well as texture, and I wasn't sure if this was going to give me what I was looking for or not. It does add a tiny bit of volume and give my hair more shape, but it's really minor and not very noticeable. I do have very fine/thin hair so it is nice that no matter how much of this stuff I put in, it never gets weighed down, oily, or matted. I can sleep with it in my hair, and I won't desperately need to shower to wash it out in the morning. So, if you're looking for a simple product that will add a little more life to your hair without weighing it down, this is a good product for that! If you're looking for a lot of texture and volume, I would recommend Style Sexy Hair's other product called "Texture Frenzy". I tried this product after I ran out of Frenzy and I regret not getting more of that in the first place. I have used this product for years and loved it, but recently the product is very thin and watery even after I shake well. I have a fairly wavy, thick hair that I keep short to medium in length. I mostly use this after showering but it also seems to work well if I just wet my hair a little and apply. Using just a little every time gives my hair a very natural look, but it still does a good job holding it in place. This is easily the best product I've tried for my hair. I love the texture of it as well - very smooth, not sticky or too thick. I was worried that I would go through this stuff quickly and have to spend a lot to stay stocked, but I think a single bottle has lasted me about 5 or 6 months.
