I was skeptical because there were no reviews on this item when I purchased it. I have another brand mat under my smaller machine, but needed a much larger mat for my quilting machine. My machine is notorious for vibrating, without a mat the machine would be in my lap after a row of stitches but this mat keeps it securely in place and somewhat reduces vibrations. There were a few white marks on the top from the mat being tightly folded for shipping, but for me it’s a non issue since it keeps my machine from moving a fraction of an inch. Glad I made the choice to give this a try, I would have had to pay double for a mat this size in the brand I usually buy

I’ll still use it under my sewing machine, but it would have been better if they shipped it rolled up. The non-slip bottom is a nice feature, though.

This had potential. When I received it, I placed it under a large cutting mat with a heavy machine on top of the cutting mat to flatten the sewing machine mat. It worked ok, not great. I can deal with the folds. BUT, the color wipes off. I haven't used the sewing machine I placed on the mat, but just placing it there and touching it with my hands, the color comes off. And, its pink not red, but I could deal with that too. But, not the color rubbing off. I wouldn't recommend and wouldn't buy again.

I am one of the few of my generation that seems to sew still, and I have a sewing machine in my home office. The room is carpeted, so the foot pedal moves around and gets really annoying. I bought this to try to keep it in place, but I mostly just chase this around on the carpet now with the foot pedal on top of it. It seems to be decent quality, but it lacks the grip to do its job.
