We bought our daughter in law this beginner sewing machine because she wanted to learn how to sew She really likes it and said it was very easy to use. She has made 2 large quilts using this machine and it did great! You cannot beat the price for a beginner machine

I wanted to get back into crafting after 12 or so years, but since it's been so long, I was hesitant about getting a more expensive name-brand machine. I decided to get this thing as a cheaper beginner alternative just in case it turned out crafting wasn't my thing, and boy howdy, was that a mistake. First of all, the instructions for this thing are wildly unhelpful. I'm not sure if the English was translated with AI or what, but it's not great. The pictures aren't really all that helpful, either. But even when I deciphered the hieroglyphics that are the user manual, the thing didn't work anyway and the bobbin thread would get bunched up and jam the machine almost instantly. I thought it might be a skill issue, so I tried many times, and even had an experienced friend walk me through it. But it would still happen even when I threaded everything immaculately. My friend described it as a "toy machine" and said it was almost definitely a machine issue, not a me issue. I'd also like to add that the whole thing looks and feels very cheap. It's all plastic, and almost hilariously, the "shine" on the dial isn't actually real, but just printed on the plastic, which makes it look even more like a toy. Just bite the bullet and grab a little Brother or a Singer or something. This thing is not worth the headache. This is the first product I've ever hated enough that I want to return it, so I really hope that I can.

I am new to sewing so this was a great starter sewing machine. It’s very light weight and not loud at all. It’s a perfect compact size as I don’t have a lot of room to spare. I do wish the storage compartment was a little bigger but I guess that would require the machine to be bigger. It’s very functional for its size and very affordable.
