Fiamma Assoluta is actually a wonderful release by Ferragamo I feel like it brings what Fiamma did but makes it a lot more fun and modern. In a way some might see that as a step backwards perhaps if you were hoping for something to lean more into that sophisticated more professional fragrance with some complex depth. Fiamma Assoluta has a bit of depth but actually leans much more heavily into floral mass appealing fragrances like Valentino Donna Born in Roma or Prada Paradoxe. This is definitely its own thing but its got a bit of similarities to both of those. In the opening you get a nice fresher floral sweetness with that initial hit of background citrus which is mostly indistinguishable sweetness. This is certainly jasmine forward but you can definitely get a fair bit of orange blossom and perhaps the peony makes it more of a full on floral blend. The citrus pushes it into a citrus sweet floral powdery scent for the first few minutes but then this actually just gets this amazing vanilla sweetness and the powder develops more distinctly into amber. Sometimes it can feel a little fresher to the nose before the dry down and u get a bit of that opening powder too with a bit of the vanilla. Honestly after that first like 20-30 minutes this just flips a switch with the amber and becomes this amazing amber forward vanilla floral masterpiece. It has an amount of depth overall to keep things interesting but mostly has the typical Prada Paradoxe kind of mass appeal dry down. Once it smooths out it has a fairly elegant feel yet still has a fun sweetness. I think if you weren’t a big fan of amber this would feel like a lesser version of those two Valentino Donna Born in Roma or Prada Paradoxe but for me this is a more preferable version of those kinds of mass appeal fragrances. To me this is an excellent addition into that mass appealing market place but obviously there may be some who were looking for something more unique or more sophisticated. This is a good middle ground mix of depth and fun and I would recommend this to anyone if it fits their price range. Very safe fragrance but also very similar to other things out there so it might be up to you if this is a go out and get it now or kinda wait until you run out of your other favorite. Highly recommend tho it is just super easy to wear and smells amazing with any time versatility without being too youthfully sweet.

The dry-down is absolutely gorgeous: a smooth, barely sweet, elevated clean-skin olfactory experience. This is a scent for someone who wants to project power and calm, whose mere presence demands respect and admiration. It smells expensive and timeless. The scent will shine in daytime and office settings. I can see it working in casual settings, too (though I personally prefer something edgier for private moments). It projects and lasts remarkably well: I can clearly perceive it on my skin even 3 hours after applying, and the base layer stays on for 7+ hours. As with all other Ferragamo scents, it takes you on an accompanying visual journey. The bottle is a statement of elegance and style: an amber-colored opaque bottle encapsulated by a gold rim. Even with that familiarity, though, it still feels modern and polished. I should probably start by saying that I came into this fragrance with certain expectations based on the note breakdown. Seeing bergamot, mandarin, and orange blossom, I was anticipating something that leaned more into that modern designer freshness—something with a brighter citrus opening and a cleaner, more textured orange blossom presence. The kind of fragrance where the florals support the freshness rather than lead the composition. On my skin, that's not really what happened. The citrus is present, but it functions more as a sweetening component than a true fresh, sparkling opening. Rather than creating a bright citrus-forward experience, it blends into the overall composition and helps support the fragrance's soft sweetness. Instead, the fragrance remains more floral than I expected throughout the wearing experience. The jasmine is especially noticeable, and the white florals become the dominant theme. The orange blossom is there, but I don't get a strong laundry-clean effect from it. The peony and jasmine stay more forward than I anticipated, which ultimately makes the fragrance lean more feminine than unisex on my skin. That's not a criticism. In fact, I think understanding that expectation versus reality is probably the key to understanding my experience with Fiama Assoluta. I wasn't looking for less quality or less depth—I was simply expecting the fragrance to travel in a different direction. Once I adjusted my expectations, I found a lot to appreciate about what Ferragamo created. There's also a soft powdery quality running underneath everything. It's never overly powdery, but it adds a smooth elegance that works well with the floral heart. One thing I appreciate is the balance. Nothing feels overpowering. No single note dominates the composition, and the transitions feel seamless. It manages to have depth and character while still remaining approachable and easy to wear. In many ways, it's safer than the note breakdown might suggest, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Ferragamo found a nice middle ground between complexity and mass appeal. Performance was above average for me. I got well over six hours of detectability on skin, which is generally where I consider a fragrance to move into above-average territory. Projection, however, was below average. This isn't a room-filling powerhouse, and it doesn't seem designed to be. It stays relatively close to the wearer and maintains a softer presence throughout its lifespan. While I don't see this becoming a fragrance I reach for often myself, I think it's a very good release from Ferragamo. It smells fantastic on my wife, and I can absolutely see why it will appeal to a wide audience. I was simply hoping it would lean a little more unisex than it ultimately does on my skin. Overall, Fiama Assoluta is a smooth, modern floral with excellent blending, soft amber warmth, subtle powderiness, and enough depth to keep it interesting without ever becoming challenging. You never know what to expect these days with a new fragrance. Many are overpowering with an alcohol forward smell and extremely potent afterwards. This scent was a very pleasant surprise. The scent itself was forward and maintained its fragrance for a long time. The initial note was that is was sweet and citrusy, then a more floral (it almost seemed like peony which we love) and then vanilla like frangrance both came through. Even though it was sprayed on the body, some got into the air and the room began to smell fabulous. I was looking for a special fragrance for that special someone and this knocked the proverbial ball out of the park. The scent is elegant and subdued while being fairly long-lasting. And, it's consistent as it was tried multiple times and was very pleasing each time. While most modern fragrances overdo it in many ways, this is much more classy and elegant. Well done Ferragamo!

If you’re familiar with the original Fiamma, this feels like its warmer, slightly sexier older sister. It keeps the DNA of the original fragrance but adds more depth and richness, making it feel a bit more mature and evening-friendly. The scent comes across warmer and more confident without completely changing what made the original appealing. One thing I noticed immediately is the projection. Compared to the original, this definitely announces itself more when first sprayed. For the first hour or so it projects noticeably better and feels more present without being overwhelming. After that initial burst it settles down nicely into a softer wear, but it still maintains that richer character throughout. Overall, it’s a pretty lovely flanker. If you enjoy the original Fiamma and wish it had a little more warmth, depth, and presence, this version delivers exactly that.

Kind of like the scent but not boring. It’s described as woodsy floral. I don’t detect a heavy floral scent which is great for my preference. It’s not overpowering at all, it’s a nice blend of smells kind of like you can’t put your finger on it. I’m not really a perfume wearer, more for a night out. So it’s nice to have a new perfume from time to time, I like to change it up. And you can’t go wrong with Ferragamo! I haven’t worn it out yet but I’ve tried it around the house and my family likes it.
