This not only does a great job of getting dishes and flatware clean, it keeps the dishwasher clean and eliminates the odors that were present when using a lower level Cascade dishwasher pod (I think that previous pod was a Cascade Platinum - not the Platinum PLUS). I am very sensitive to odors so not having to experience the smell every time I opened the dishwasher to put something in, is a big plus for this product. I clean the food pieces off the dishes and flatware before putting them in the dishwasher, though my wife doesn't do as good a job at that as I do. Still, ALL the dishes and flatware come out completely clean. That is a definite plus for our relationship!! ... show more

We have hard water and this is by far the best detergent I have found. It is extremely easy to use, just pop it in the machine and let it run. Dishes come out clean with no leftover residue.
