We stayed in a rental for a weekend that had a bottle of this, and I was surprised at how nice it was - the spray makes it easy to apply where you need and it really does a great job cutting through stuck-on stuff. It also is much easier to clean awkwardly shaped items with this compared to having to use dish soap & a sponge. I did not. use it to wash my dishes . For dishes, I wash them with regular dish detergent before loading them in to my dishwasher, turn on dishwasher to express wash ( 40 minutes) instead of full cycle wash as they are really clean but need to have them sanitize. However, the commercial Vulcan range top is difficult to clean so , we purchased silicone mat to cover them. When iI fry, the mat gets oily, they have to be wiped clean and taken out to wash with detergent from time to time. Wiping them does not make them look that clean , esp with soem streaks even if I spray them with METHOD all purpose cleaner. The glass of the Wolf counter top gourmet stove and the Emeril air fryer's glass also gets very filthy as I use them nowadays instead of the huge commercial ovens. I had tried cleaning them with paste made of baking soda, vinegar with no much success. they still look nasty. When these arrived yesterday, I cleaned the glass of those 2 appliances, It came out very decent. It really works. I would not say it looks brand new but it really hardly has any stains which includes the SS handles and frames around the glass . When I have more time, I will spray them again, wait for a while and scrub them with one of my 2 fuller kitchen brush ( they are wonderful ) . I just want to let people know how thrilled I am with them. One more thing, it is scentless! I am allergic to perfume and scents. One drawback, initially I thought I. had to return it bec I kept on pushing the trigger nothing came out . It took a while before the spray works. maybe that is normal ... show more

I have tried many many different kinds and brands of dish soap throughout my 60 years and after trying this Dawn Powder Wash spray a couple of years ago it works even better than the original Dawn liquid soap. There’s little to no scrubbing on your dishes even after they have set for days and stuff is really dried on. Even burnt on stuff comes off. Just follow the directions. I’ve used it on my stove top and it works great on that too. I’ve used it on oils or greasy stuff on my clothes too. I’ve also used it on spots on my floors, couch, and even the oil buildup on car tires. It’s actually cheaper than most of the products you would buy to clean a lot of the things I mentioned above. I guess after spending so many years and so much money trying to find products that actually work and don’t cost a fortune it’s nice to be able to tell others about it. As an afterthought, I’ve been disabled for 18 years now and each year gets harder for me so anything that I can find to make things easier for me is worth it. I don't normally leave a review on an everyday item like this, but this one needed a little info. I was excited to try this because I have non-cooks who use my cookware and nice stick on messes are left behind. This is very easy to use. You just pop the top onto the bottle and it's ready to go. It does a good job of getting a solid layer covering the items I've cleaned. I've been very impressed with how it does handle stuck on or burnt food on dishes and pans. Keep in mind that this is not a traditional dish soap. It's meant to be sprayed on and you just let it sit. It does not hold up to scrubbing like you're used to with traditional dawn. It does work much better though on those tougher items where you would soak and scrub constantly. The smell those is extremely strong. There's no doubt in your mind that this is a chemical product. I have sensitives with allergies and strong smells. Just putting 3 sprays on a pan will give me headaches if I have it to close to my body. I now keep it at arms length. It also says that you can just wipe the product out and rinse. That is true. I just had to clean a pan with burnt sugar (heavy eye roll here). I was able to wipe the mess out using a Bounty sheet and rinse. It took 3 times to get it all off because of the amount of burnt on sugar, but the pan was spotless. Due to the heavy chemical smell, I didn't feel comfortable just rinsing it out. I let it run through the dishwasher to be safe. I plan to keep traditional Dawn for daily use and only pull this out for the ones that require some extra power. ... show more

I dont know what's in this, but holy cow does it work well. The spray is super fine and it really cuts grease and cleans well - and not just on dishes. My MIL and mother both say the same thing - absolutely must have in your kitchen sink. Doesn't clog, is way less messy than the other 'pop up button' dispensers, and the light stream that comes out of the spray means you don't use as much as you would if you were squeezing it out.
