Love Dawn. I thought ultra meant better but honestly, I prefer Dawn Plantinum. Dont get me wrong, Ultra is still grease fighting and still washes plates squeaky clean but I find I need more; lots more compared to platinum. That aside, I do like how versatile this dish soap is. I obviously wash pots, pans, and dishes, but I also use it to clean around the house. I mix a little vinegar with dawn to clean my shower sink, and toilet. I even use it on the floors. It cleans nicely without being harsh. It is also a great pre-laundry stain treatment for my clothes. It does wonders sometimes. Last but not least, a few drops of Dawn in my cats conditioning shampoo helps end any staggering fleas yet is gentle on my fur babies. I prefer platinum but ultra does seem to run cheaper most of the time compared to Ultra so I do get it as an alternative. ... show more

Great value for the money. I like having 2 big bottles to refill my soap dispenser in my kitchen Dawn blue works on dishes and hard to remove spots on clothes. Same scent, consistency, color makes it effective on grease and stains.
