Great quality, a bit expensive

I bought these a few months ago as a replacement for feather pillows my wife & I purchased nearly a decade ago. Given the feather/down mix, I was quite excited over the prospects. However, these were not a lot better than the ones we purchased from JC Penney a decade ago. It took about a month for the inner liner to stop crinkling when one put their head on it. The wife just gave up and continued to use the old pillow. Hence, I am alternating the two pillows--using one as a head and the other as an arm rest. One of the great considerations is how they shape, as I am a CPAP user and a pillow must not shove around my headset in the course of the night. Final verdict--these are nice pillows--lighter than most feather fills. That does not necessarily add to comfort. It takes a few weeks for the crinkly inner liner to subside its racket. Ultimately, they give good sleep, but at this price point are nothing spectacular... ... show more

The down pillows you've been searching for.
I just purchased a pair of these pillows and WOW. These are really great down pillows with lots of down in them. Finally getting a good nights sleep. None of the foam filled pillows ever worked for me, and Iv been through several pairs. The down pillows Iv purchased in the past were so skimpy as to be uncomfortable. Perfect blend if you like a little firmness

I'm 5'11'' and weigh roughly 165# on a good week. I bought 2 of the the king sized, 50/50 pillows. I sleep stomach, both sides and back. I can form, prop, fluff and shape these pillows any way I want and they are perfect. They offer perfect support in all positions. The build quality is good and I've noticed no odors whatsoever. I bought 2 of these and wish I needed 10 more! I am one, extremely satisfied customer. I should have done this ages ago. My pups agree, and they'd like me to get one for each of them :) ... show more

The pillows are really nice and my husband loves his. I slept on mine for a couple of nights and it was very comfortable. However, I went back to using my older feather pillow because the new one was too full for me. If I could open it up and take some of the feathers/down out, it would be perfect. I need it to be a little more "crunchable" for my liking. This is why I give the pillow a rating of 4 stars instead of 5. My husband loves his. I really like mine, but in order to use it every night, I would have to take some of the stuffing out of it, so it would have more room "scrunching". It would be wonderful to put a zipper on the covering so this could be done for individual taste/use. The quality of the pillows is excellent. ... show more

Goes Flat Quickly - Very Little Support for Side Sleeper
I've been shopping for months for the perfect pillow and I was so hoping this one would be it, but it fell short. While it is incredibly comfortable for about an hour, it quickly goes flat. There is very little support for a side sleeper. My search continues.

Finally a comfortable pillow!

I've always lived feather pillows, thought I'd try this 50-50 blend upgrade. It is quite firm, but will conform. Find I'm sleeping more soundly. ( My old feather pillows were both almost flat after years of use!) I had tried the foam pieces filled style pillow. But my head gets hot at night, and the foam stuff just made things much worse! I'd wake up with wet hair!! Not so with feathers...comfortable, cool. ... show more
