So my original rollers were steel and 18 years old with one of the wheels off. After researching rollers, these had a good rating with a fast delivery time so I gave them a shot. They were an exact fit and were nice and quiet. As time passes, I will try to update this review to discuss durability, but they feel solid.

Rollers work well,easy install for anyone. Took a star away because sealed bearing is not as expected. Sealed here means An open bearing with a little plastic cap over the wheel hub. So if you expect a rollerblade or bike style kind of seal you'll be disappointed. It does look like the "seal" will do the trick in my garage, but your mileage may vary.

Very easy to install and seem quiet and high quality. My door tracks were no longer straight due to damage when a spring broke. Even after repair, the door would occasionally come off track. I finally decided it might be a roller trying to travel too far. These longer stem rollers are no more expensive and offer more freedom for the rollers to travel without coming free from the door and causing binding. A good investment.

Since installing nylon rollers on my garage doors, my family and neighbors has lined up to get theirs done after seeing (and hearing) mine. Replacement is easy, only the bottom can be difficult if you have tension springs (as opposed to the torsion spring) since the cable attaches to the bottom bracket. When ordering, just be sure you get the right length stem. Most single car width doors use the shorter 4 inch stem and heavier double doors use the 7 inch stem like this one. They seem to be quality rollers but only time will tell.

I replaced the steel rollers on my 18' X 10' door. It would screech horribly the last few inches when lifting and the first few inches when lowering. I measured everything several times and couldn't find a problem. I messed around with adjustments a bit for hours, multiple times, to no avail. I think maybe one lift cable is slightly long or one door segment is a few mm wider. At any rate, I replaced all the rollers with these and now I have to LOOK at the door to tell if it's moving. Between these rollers and my shaft drive door opener, it's dead silent.

I replace all the metal one I had on my garage door after I installed a garage opener. The metal one was so noisy, this is night and day!!! I am amaze how quiet those are, you can barely hear the door is opening. It was not to hard to replace if you are a DIY. I had to cut some as they were a bit too long but definitely a must do if you have metal wheel, you can’t beat the price here on Amazon, you will be amaze by the difference.
