Awful. If you need an AC for your bedroom DO NOT buy this one! It randomly makes loud thumping and banging noises through out the night, even my dog jumps up! It’s so bad that as a pretty heavy sleeper even I wake up all night long, even with noise cancelling earplugs! (Takes up a lot of floor space too, but I think that’s typical of this type of AC unit) Had I known what a piece of garbage this is I would have returned it during the return window. Oh, also, I had the temp set on 67 and woke up to a bedroom that was 60 degrees…so apparently the internal thermostat is garbage too.

This air conditioner is perfect, it has everything I wanted in one compact, portable unit. I had a large workshop space which was not conditioned in any way. I was really happy to find this unit that not only provides me cooling in the summer but will provide heat via heat pump in cold weather. It’s the best of both worlds and an inexpensive way to achieve everything I wanted without any complex installation. This unit moves anywhere easily, being on casters and only requires a small opening to be able to vent. It is a great capacity for a large space too. My space is about 400sqft and it is easily able to keep up with demand. I like having the extra capacity though in case of extreme heat or cold. This unit has wifi control as well which is handy. I can raise or lower the temperature remotely, for example, bumping up the cooling on my way home when I plan to work in the garage and don’t want to wait for it to cool. It works terrific and operates quietly. There is some noise with the fan, but that is it. Overall great unit.

This is my second one. First lasted 4 summers then died Thats probably to be expected these days so i'm not too disappointed but took off one star for that. The new one works great, maybe a tad better because it's brand new and AC's tend to work less well year after year. It;s good for the $, but no small AC like this is going to cool a room bigger then maybe 25x15 It's more about sitting in front of it to cool yourself and getting the room a few degrees cooler. This one i believe is as good as you will find for the 4. I tried a toshiba that was 13 more BTU and much more $ and didn't work as well. So just remember no AC in this range is gonna be great, but i believe this one is about as good as it gets from my experience and from reading S ton of reviews. Oh, and it;s pretty economical when u get the power bill.

I have about 800 sq ft duplex and whoever split the house into the duplex messed up the HVAC so my central air does not do well. I decided to buy this and it's been amazing! It doesn't cool off my bedroom or the back half but does a great job cooling my living room and kitchen. It's currently 100 degrees outside, this unit is set to 70. My indoor thermostat says it's 74 in here and it feels so much more comfortable. It is heavy but has wheels on it so moves easily in my house. Install was fairly easy. Will recommend!

We are in central FL and purchased this unit in anticipation of Hurricane Milton. We assumed our power would be out for at least a week. Thankfully got our power back after 3 days, but while it was out, we hooked this up to our generator and it worked really well! It's already on wheels so easy to move, easy to set up, small enough to be out of the way, and the noise level was fine compared to the noise of the generator. Lol I'm so glad we will have this for all future outages!

Bought this 8000 BTU unit for my man cave. Our central AC broke when it was 110 degrees in Las Vegas. This was a lifesaver that kept us cool. One in my man cave and another one in the bedroom. Because of that, we made it through 110 degree weather. AC is broke now for three weeks.
