I was very pleased when I got it. It's lightweight and easy to store. It also came with 4 stackable trays to put inside the dehydrator as well as two large storage containers. The instructions were very simple and the interface on top is easy to read and access. The instructions even come with some good recipes I can't wait to try! It's lightweight so I can store it in my cupboard and get it out when I need to. The controls are right on top with a bright touch display. You can set the time and temperature. The fan is very big and provides even airflow across all the food on the trays so there's no need to change trays around. It's also much more quiet than I thought and just sounds like a light fan blowing. Overall I'm very happy with this dehydrator and think its a great deal especially at this price. ... show more

Setup and operation are simple. Pans are easy to clean. Noise level was minimal and not bothersome at all. For my first use I decided to try it out on some canned pineapple chunks. I drained the van through a sieve and let it set about 10 minutes before placing the pieces on the trays. I set the temperate to 138°F for 8 hours. My goal wasn’t for total dehydration, so the 8 hours was exactly what I was looking for. I am interested in trying to make a beef jerky next. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It is little bit more compact size that I expected, and thought I wouldn’t make much out of this. But, it’s perfect size for me, small household. I made apple chips and banana chips at 173 degrees for 7 hours, boom, delicious snacks, very healthy options I made for myself. It’s super quiet. Absolutely perfect filament dryer. Holds 2 1kg spools and gets all the way up to 90C, which is sufficient for higher temp materials like ABS and PC. I tried the "proper" filament dryers, but none of them get hot enough for ABS and none of them actually exhaust the moisture from the box. This dehydrator does both, and it's cheaper than most of the two-spool dryers as well. The only shortcoming is that the temp can only be set in Fahrenheit, but I printed out a conversion chart and taped it to the top. I'm perfectly happy to look up the temp in exchange for being able to get my filament good and dry without having to use my wife's oven. ... show more
