This unit heats and cools very well my only complaint is the temperature will easily fluctuate 5 to 6 degrees in the house sometimes more. It may be a setting in the thermostat, but I am unable to figure it out. The thermostat it comes with is inaccurate and results in the unit constantly running. To combat this I ordered one of the thermostats on Amazon that replicates the radio signals on mini splits, for me it was the Cielo unit and configured it. I then needed to remove batteries from the remote control included and I needed to open the circuit panel on both the the thermostat and received included with the AC and remove the speaker. I also pulled the screen connector ribbon so the screen wouldn't light up. Then I routed both the thermostat and the wireless receiver in my attic through the return duct and into the intake so that the new thermostats signal could reach it when placed on the wall nearby. I also chose a location near an outlet for my thermostat so I could throw a duplex outlet inside of the wall to allow the new thermostat to get power from without wires on the wall. Now I have a smart thermostat. And don't try using a nest or anything because this unit creates high low 12/24v signals that aren't compatible with them. Also be patient when you're filling the system and read the sequences super closely. I used a 35 amp breaker for this system. ... show more

This heat pump was bought for a house I'm flipping. It's 1456 square feet and this pump is slightly larger than what the local hvac computations says the house needs. But, the price is excellent and after my tech installed it, it will provide the buyers with excellent service.
