The pros: Very quiet. Not heavy, so if you do need to move it around it’s easy to do. It comes with all the mounting hardware if you want it on the wall. The controls are on the bottom which is good for the wall mount. It looks good and takes up less space than a regular dryer. It seems well constructed and sturdy. Steel drum. The cons: Doesn’t hold a lot of clothes, and dries better if it’s not too full. Does take longer to dry clothes because the low setting is barely warm and the high setting is warm. It also seems to take awhile to get up to the maximum heat. Since the controls are on the bottom, they are not convenient if you have it on the floor. In that case, I would recommend putting it on a cart or table. You need to clean the filter after every use, but it is a little less easy to do than a regular full size dryer— you have to reach in to the back wall of the dryer and pop out the filter, which takes a good hard tug. Then you have to pry a plastic and mesh filter off and rub the lint off with yours fingers or a brush, and then also brush off the cloth-like filter. Then you reassemble the 2 parts and pop the filter back in the machine. It’s not hard, but just a little more work than a regular dryer. See my photos of the filter inside the dryer, and to see the different parts when it’s out and disassembled. Despite all the so-called cons, as long as you understand that’s it’s not going to be like a full size regular dryer in terms of heat and capacity, you should be happy with this dryer. This dryer is perfect for us. I line dry my clothes, either outside or on a rack indoors, and usually only use a dryer on “air dry” or “cool” setting— just long enough, 10 min. or so, to tumble out the wrinkles before I hang them up, and just the clothes that matter like shirts and pants. (Underwear, sheets, etc— who cares if they’re wrinkled?!). So when our regular dryer went kaput, I bought this little guy, and I’ve never regretted it. By the way— we mounted it on the wall above our washer, and wanted to take off one of the little legs since we miscalculated and the leg was in the way of the washer lid being fully raised up. They do come off since they are just screwed in, but it does take quite a bit of force to do it, and because they’re plastic you have to be careful you don’t break them. ... show more

We have this installed in a closet which originally housed one of those expensive $2700+ sets for RVs, and this sucker is better than dryers for a house! It's efficient, quiet, and surprisingly holds a ton of clothes! We read reviews before buying, and we are not disappointed. My wife can do laundry quickly without issues, and this doesn't take much space at all. Very easy to set-up, literally plug and play! It's light weight considering what it does, and easy. Doesn't have a timer sound when the timer is done, and there aren't "cycles", but that doesn't matter because you get control over how much time you want your clothes to dry for, so if you wanted to get a quick heat cycle, then air dry you can without burning clothing. Additionally, it has a low and high heat setting as well as a cold setting so you can adjust that to your preferred choice. Well worth the cost, and so far NO issues! I moved into an apartment without a washer and dryer a year ago and bought this in Jan. 2020. I've been so happy with it! It's works just like a regular, full-size dryer, but compact! It plugs right into the wall so no special outlet requirements, and comes with a handy little hose to vent it out a window if you need. I have a large bedroom so I have it set up in there and during the winter months, I actually just point the hose back into the room for added warmth and humidity. Since it's in my room, I purchased a tray for it to sit in (I actually got this product on Amazon: "Midwest Dog Crate Replacement Pan, 30 Inch, for Life Stages Fold and Carry Dog Crates", it's a great price and fits it perfectly). I can actually dry a decent size load in it too. It easily fits a full bath towel, a pair of pants, 2 or 3 shirts, plus a few handfuls of other smaller things. For a load that size, it takes about 40 minutes to get it all dry. The dryer lint trap is very easy to clean and to get to, and even though the controls are on the bottom of the machine, they're also easy to use. Just set it and go! The photos of the inside are with two standard size bath towels in it to give you an idea of what fits in there. I definitely recommend purchasing for anyone who wants a dryer in their apartment, but doesn't have the hookup! ... show more
