My husband got this for me, It is not something I would have bought for my self but I love it, obviously he knows me better than I know myself. We set it up yesterday and I have not been able to take my eyes off of the thing. One of the fish was missing his tail, but we like him because he is the "odd man out" according to the hubby lol. The jellyfish periodically swoops down and starts eating the fish, its fun. We really enjoy this product. The video shown is on "smooth" mode, where you can see the colors changing. There are three other modes; strobe, flash and fade. You can change the brightness level by three options. I would buy this again, perhaps for another place in the house. We have cats,, and in order to prevent the lamp from getting knocked down during play we tied it down . ... show more

I bought this in May of 2018, it’s only 4 months old, and the bubbles are no longer working. It still changes colors, but no bubbles, so of course the fish are all just laying on the bottom. I tried unplugging, turning off and on, and yes I used distilled water. I’m really disappointed because my autistic son loved this so much. To stop working after 4 months is ridiculous. UPDATE: I’m going to order a new one but not from this particular company. They are liars. Beware! Will be ordering from Playlearn USA, they have great reviews and seem to be a reliable, trustworthy company! ... show more

I have a sensory driven 7 year old who fell in love with the bubble tower in the hospital when he was inpatient. I was determined to find him one that wouldn't break the bank. This lamp is perfect. While some may say the hum of the motor is certainly not silent, we find it soothing, kind of like white noise and it's certainly not harsh. The colors are beautiful and the remote allows us to change the pattern of the lights. The fish are entertaining and the kids love them, though I think the lamp would be just as nice without the fish. It was fool proof to set up, too! As a parent of a challenging child, watching his face light up is priceless. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this lamp (2 each) for my 9 year old daughter as I'm attempting to put together a small sensory room for her at home. The packages arrived within three days of purchasing them and SURPRISE there was ZERO damage to the outer boxes! The item(s) were light enough for me to carry in alone after delivery and opening the package(s) was a breeze. "Assembly" took about 2 minutes and the lamp stands up very nicely on my hardwood floors and carpet! After filling it with water it took several minutes for the fish to move freely from the top and float up and down the tube, but this was properly explained in the instructions that came with the lamp. The colors are vivid yet very soothing and the lamp makes the smallest of noise (a slight buzz or hum) that you won't notice at all...it's really fairly quiet. NOTE: I do want to point out that the you'll need to use distilled water in the lamp as this will help ensure the lamp stays free of debris over time. Overall this is a great lamp that my child loves! I highly recommend it for ANYONE who loves colorful lighting and the playfulness of the fish and bubbles! I have two at the moment but seriously considering getting two more! (These lamps were purchased with my own money and this review is 100% my own opinion!) ... show more

I received these today I have a son who is autistic and I know he would’ve loved this but unfortunately the carrier of the items really didn’t care because once I received them i brought two one for my son and one for my daughter one of the tubes had an hole in it where I couldn’t filled it up because the water would have been spilling right out if it got full not happy at alll Plus it didn’t come with the remote asking for my refund back just because of how poorly they didn’t consider how they sent the items do not recommend I ordered because of the picture and reviews I saw on here but I took the risk and felled be careful i spent almost three hundred dollars on these will be ordering from someone else but not on here ... show more
