My boyfriend purchased this thermostat for his place but he didn’t have a C connection. He gave it to me and I have a newer home so the connections were there. The only issue I ran into was I had 7 wires and was confused on where the black E wire went. I called support and they advised to connect the W & E wires together and put into the W/E slot on the Sensi. Only one wire can fit into the slot so I wrapped the wires together and made sure they were touching and put the W wire in and that worked fine. So far the ac is blowing cool and no issues with WiFi setup. ... show more
