I’m in love with this Seniny umbrella. It opens and closes with just the push of a button, which is super practical—especially when I’m with my kids. Not all umbrellas close this easily! It’s also very large and provides great coverage, exactly what I needed. The structure is windproof, and the inverted design keeps me from getting wet when closing it. This umbrella is completely blocks out the sun, which is great for sun protection. It opens automatically with the push of a button, and the handle is adjustable perfect for hanging on a bag when not in use. The size is large enough to comfortably cover two people. Over the course of my lifetime, I have probably purchased close to 17,000 umbrellas. I don’t currently own 17,000 umbrellas, so I can only guess that 16,998 of them ended up in that mysterious void where missing umbrellas and socks go to live out the remainder of their lives. Like most people I know, we purchase new umbrellas because at the time we most desperately need our existing ones, they’re always far, far away in another galaxy. (I’ll be in the grocery store and a monsoon will suddenly appear just as I am purchasing my voluminous pile of goodies. My umbrella? In the trunk of my car of course. Naturally I purchase another umbrella from the umbrella display (now conveniently placed by the checkout lanes by the store manager) just so I can stay somewhat dry while I walk through the parking lot to unload my groceries into the trunk of my vehicle. That very same trunk where my existing umbrella is located.) After I get home, I will now have two umbrellas in my car trunk, neither of which I’ll have on me when I need one again and the vicious cycle continues. Then there’s the opposite case: I anticipate that I’ll need an umbrella so I actually carry one with me, only to accidentally leave it behind somewhere because it wasn’t raining and I didn’t remember that I was carrying an umbrella with me. I was intrigued by this carabiner handled umbrella because it can attach to your bag or purse, thus freeing up valuable real estate to carry other stuff that I”ll probably never use until I need it only to realize that I took it out of my bag because I never used it. The carabiner handle opens about 1 ¼ inches to accommodate most bag or purse handles and the umbrella overall is fairly lightweight. You can carry around this umbrella and have it when you need it, and when you don’t, you won’t accidentally leave it behind because it’s attached to your bag! One disadvantage to having the carabiner handle however, is that it adds to the overall length of the closed umbrella, thus making it less portable if you decide to carry it in your bag rather than attach it to your bag’s exterior. Also, the listing for this umbrella indicates that it can be used for UV sun protection. Inasmuch as any shade provides some protection from the sun, I guess this umbrella will help somewhat, but unlike other umbrellas expressly intended for solar protection, this one doesn’t seem to have any special coating to make it particularly UV resistant. The umbrella seems well constructed overall, although the closing strap on mine was partially torn off. I don’t know if the reinforced ribs of this umbrella make it more difficult to fold up after use, but I did have a bit of a time trying to fold it up and put it back in its case after opening it. (Admittedly, this could also be due to the fact I am fundamentally uncoordinated.) This umbrella is decently priced, and I’m hoping that its carabiner feature may ultimately make it more available to me when I most need it. I’m not counting on it however.

It’s lightweight and folds up small enough to fit easily in my bag, yet it opens up to provide great coverage. The open/close button is super convenient, especially when getting in and out of cars or buildings. It dries quickly and folds back up without hassle.

I love the color (teal), and how you can attach the handle to your bag or backpack. The umbrella opens easily with just one push of a button, but closing it is extremely difficult. I really have to struggle to get it closed. Also, the end of the handle came damaged. It looks like black pitting, and is rather unattractive. However, I do like the reflective edging of the umbrella once open. Great for evening or night time use!
