I purchased this ebike through Amazon back in November (2023). My husband and I put it together in about an hour or so. The directions were fairly easy to comprehend. My first test ride was fantastic! The battery came fully charged so I was able to take it out right away. The handle throttle was a bit “torquey”, which some people may prefer, but I like to use the pedals to engage the assist, it takes off slower. I made it to about level 4, 5 was to fast for me. I pull a trailer with two young children (Aprox 50lbs total with trailer) and this helps tremendously with hills and longer distances. It came with the tire guards, a rear bike rack, front and rear lights with turning signals which was way more than what other bikes came with that were double the price. Somehow I misplaced my owners manual, which I like to keep a hard copy of. I contacted customer support through their email and they responded within 24 hours and answered my question along with providing me a way to pay for a new manual. I purchase this bike few days ago, extremely unhappy with the quality of product used for this bike, it looks like some unsatified person returnd the bike to manufacture and got shipped to me. The pedal threads were stripped. Tried to return the bike it, UPS, Fedex quoted me anywhere between $450 to $1100 to ship it back to manufacture from Washington State to California so it looks like i am stuck with a product that i am not happy with. So if you are going to purchase a bike from this company make sure to check the return policy and cost of return shipment. ... show more

I really like most characteristics of the Herald, including power and range. I ride mostly ride 20-30 mile trips on back country trails and roads with many long and steep ups and downs. The bike performs wonderfully on the up hills, but going down hills for long distances is a challenge for my hands on the brakes. I wouldn't call it dangerous because I have strong hands but some of the more frail types should be cautious. Unfortunately, Senada does not offer a hydraulic brake upgrade for this model. My local bike shop managed to find a compatible hydraulic brake assembly, the cost of parts and installation is about $200.00 ... show more

Thought it came with 21ah battery & a few other features as last description suggested. Apparently not sellers fault though. Otherwise bike is fun, and will know more after putting more miles on it. Just hoping I don't run out of battery on first long ride.

I’m 5’3 and with the seat all the way lowered it’s a great fit! This bike is so much fun and the attention to detail is insane. I love everything about this bike and I will recommend it over and over again. Flies up hills with no problem and and overall awesome bike. My fiancé is 5’8 and he also thinks the bike is awesome/fits him well. So happy with my bike! Added bonus - it looks sick!! ... show more

    • A beast with a mind of it’s own!
This is my second e-bike and was about 1/3 of the price paid from my bike in AZ. So perhaps one gets what one pays for. This bike has 5 levels of assist. But that translates to 5 different speeds that it wants to go and no more. I ride at the middle speed and go about 18 MPH. I cannot go faster at this level regardless of effort. I rarely use the higher assist Levels because of battery drain. At level 3 I can get a fairly good, consistent 30 or so miles out If one charge. That’s fairly decent but I would like closer to 45. After all, we SHOULD be able to go farther with all that power! All this said, I am quite pleased with the bike overall. It does take some getting used to initially so beware! ... show more

Seller will not send a proper return label, refuses to communicate by phone, bike was damaged during shipping and had missing parts, assembly instructions are vague and only half of them are even in the book. Worst seller I've ever dealt with. Selling the bike for scrap metal.
