The light is very easy to assemble, it is not super sturdy and does have some movement however for the price it's great. Installation was very easy, positive and negative are not marked with a colored wire (white/black) however there is very small writing on one of wires. If your thinking of making a purchase, do it! My only suggestion, buy the light bulbs on Amazon, much cheaper and each light takes four bulbs. ... show more

This is a nice lamp and you can’t beat it for the price. It was a little challenging to assemble since the screws are so small so if you have a magnetic screw driver best to use it so you don’t lose the screws. Other than that my nephew seemed to have no issues getting it installed. I’ll probably get softer lights but overall I’ll pleased ... show more

First off, this is *NOT* UL listed which worried me at first, but I gave it a once over as did my buddy who is an electrician and it seems safe enough. But if that’s a concern to you, I figured I’d mention. This is a very nice light that both updated and brightened up my front foyer. It’s easy enough to assemble (although the light arms were a little crooked, but they did bend back) and didn’t take too much time to install. The finish is really nice and looks to be of decent quality and it throws a lot of light without being obscene. It’s supposed to be farmhouse style, but this works with antique decor just fine as well. ... show more

This light has been a nice upgrade for my home’s entryway. There’s some assembly required before installation, but it only takes a few minutes. Thankfully the assembly was intuitive because the instructions weren’t very helpful. I’m happy with the quality of the metal body and its matte black finish, but some of the light sockets were noticeably crooked. I was able to mostly straighten them by bending them into place. With the exposed bulbs, a lot of light is produced. Overall, I like this light because it has drastically improved the look of my entryway and produces much more light than my previous one. I just wish the instructions would’ve been better and that I wouldn't have had to bend any of the parts into place. ... show more

This light is well made and very solid. Concern is it is not UL listed, which is standards placed on items for safety. (USA) So my husband will not let me put it up.
