Our silicone adhesive cures at room temperature and has a long working time, allowing easy application. It can be used for various applications, including coating steel structures and can be used on windows and doors.
- MULTIPURPOSE: Our clear silicone caulk is used as a filling and bonding material for ceramic tile, windows, stone, glass, aluminum, and metal in the bathroom and kitchen. Another feature of this marine silicone is that it has no odor after curing.
- NO SOLVENT: Resistant to UV rays, ozone and high temperatures, our 100% silicone caulk retains its color. This waterproof caulking sealant does not turn yellow and does not leave any residue or stain on the surface.

The fumes that come from this is overwhelmingly strong. It does work but it will irritate your eyes and nose and I didn’t use a lot. The smell lasted about 4 hours with good ventilation.

I tried this out because it was slightly cheaper than the corresponding GE product at the local box store. It flowed and was generally as easy to work with as the GE product, but the GE product had absolutely no problematic vapor or smell at all. This product stank for days after application. I have no idea if the fumes are a health hazard or generally unproblematic from a safety perspective (perhaps the product is just as safe as GE's regardless of the smell; I admit I don't know). I've had to open a window, close the door to the room, and push a towel against the bottom of the door for the time being. I'm not sure the smell will be completely resolved until I finish the job by covering the expansion gaps with quarter-round to fully enclose the sealant gap. All this to save two or three bucks per tube. Even for a job requiring four to six tubes, I'm not sure it's worth the savings frankly...but it gets the job done overall.

This comes with an attachable nozzle and a cap to reseal it when done. This is so nice to have when you don't use the entire tube at once, which for me is the majority of the time.
