Easily broke apart. 2nd attempt succeeded, I hope, using generous glue and spray, then following that with more glue and spray along the inside seam for extra strength, is a permanent joint. Works fast. Make sure to store the glue bottle upside down so it doesn't dry out. Will need a needle to Reopen hole. I place mine upside down to the spray with the rubber band that came with it.
