After reading the reviews I was leery about these extensions. When testing I proceeded with care, giving myself plenty of room to allow for out of control behavior. I was also concerned with taking a shower after connecting/disconnecting the segments several time. I quickly found there was nothing to be concerned with, as long as you think about what you are doing. Yes, if you connect a 90 degree nozzle to the end of a 10 foot shaft and add pressure it will tend to push in the opposite direction of outflow, it's a jet. I did not find that controlling this effect was difficult, in fact it helped in lifting/controlling the fully assembled extension. These extensions were fully capable supporting their own weight and handling the pressure, no issues with construction. I assembled and disassembled them to various lengths and did not have any leakage and did not need to change the o-rings. Overall I am pleased and have used these extensions many times. My only complaint is the individual nozzles are not labeled for pressures, but I figured out which was the strongest and which was the weakest pressure. Also the bracket to hold them doesn't stay connected to the rods as shown, it comes off very easily. Outside of that I wouldn't change anything. Well worth the price. ... show more

This item is very useful when used within its design. I used a gas powered 3100 psi 2.7 GPM Generac with this extension. The ability to extended 10ft enabled me to SAFELY complete a two story pressure washer job the would have otherwise required the rental of a lift ($1500 +/wk) or a scaffold ($250+/wk). when used with a 12 ft step ladder, I could easilly reach the top areas (26ft) without using a very risky and slow extension ladder. The ability to add or remove sections is also great as you can shorten when 10ft is too much. It is well built and comes with plenty of replacement o-ring pressure seals. Some notes from using- you will need a couple of adjustable wrenches (or 3/4, 19mm) to tighten the tube sections- hand tight WILL NOT work due to pressure and vibration movement. The two included angle fittings are nice, but be cautioned, these will only work on shorter wand sections, as the lateral force generated WILL cause the wand the thrust away very quickly with force and you WILL NOT be able to control it due to physics. So, I would advise only using the angled couplers on shorter sections. The spray nozzles included worked well and are a great plus and value. I would advise when using the 10ft extension to try and keep the wand in a more vertical position than a true horizontal, as once again, gravity and the leverage of physics will show you what they can do by causing slight wand sag and torque to your body (think shoulder arm arm strain). Overall, this is a real jobsaver and great value. My only reason for 4 stars is due to the limited extension length /use of the included angled couplers- but that is more of a law of physics issue than a design flaw (yes, a support brace could be constructed, but costs would go up considerably and we wouldn't be talking about a $32.00 purchese). Overall, highly recommend and I wouldn't want to be without this item again. ... show more

I am very pleased with this powerwash extention. I needed something to help me reach my upstairs area on my house. I havent been able to use it yet due to its rained every day since I got it. I can say it is made very good. I do feel a little wobble once all the pieces are put together but I expected that due to the length. It comes with extra o rings which is nice. I like the curved attachment for gutters. Thats gonna make cleaning gutters a lot easier come spring. Comes packaged very well.     • Flimsy with comical, circus-like results prior to failure - AVOID

For various reasons, most of which are age related, no one in our household belongs up on a ladder. I knew we needed to replace our pressure washer, and thought this might be a great way to clean our gutters. Hooked everything up, which wasn’t a big deal but it came with no directions. Powered up the washer, grabbed its gun and the hand support for this unit, and pulled the trigger. Top of unit instantly shot away from the roofline and continued backward in a perfect arch, at great speed. It stopped when it hit a nearby birch tree where it sprayed directly upward (thanks to the high radius end attachment), until I released the trigger. To be honest, that took more than a moment. I was in awe at the humor of the moment. My wife came running to see what I was laughing so joyously about. She arrived just in time to see the thing straighten back due to lack of pressure. I took another crack at it, this time bracing for the results. I gained control of the beast and worked the business end of the arched pole, which mind you is highly pressurized, towards the roofline. It actually worked a little….til I lost of control of it and the arch once again won. Not to be deterred, I tried a few more times, cuz well I started with our highest and most difficult gutter as the litmus test, and it’s not very long, and I hoped to clear it. I was covered in soggy gutter debris anyhow, so what the heck? I work with a 3-strike rule on most challenges. This unit failed on the third attempt, which is saying an awful lot in this test - it’s so damn hard to keep control of if this thing when you’re laughing uncontrollably! Think adult, high-power version of the erratic children’s hose toys. The unit trashed the threads of the nipple connection. I thought it was sheared off at first , but you could see thread pieces within the connector. I tightened down the connection and gave it one more try. This time the threads completely gave away and blasted the end of the unit out of my hands. Yup done. I rarely write reviews, but this thing is so bad if you’re going to use its full length. When it self-destructed I knew I had to warn others. Don’t waste your money unless you need a laugh! ... show more

I really am impressed with the overall quality. I can’t imagine why some mark this down for “value for the money”. Not sure what they are looking for? You get a lot metal with many machined connections (that all worked perfectly). The assembly is super easy. I didn’t even use any tools. You may need tools in some cases. Easy to add or subtract lengths. I didn’t use tools to add and take away lengths. Now I will say this is flimsy when all assembled and in use. Not a fault of the product - I didn’t think. Nature of the beast. For example it is impossible for a human to use full extension with bent angle and smallest diameter spray nozzle. This thing will whip it out of your hands. Just something to know but I didn’t call that a fault of the product. I said flimsy because it IS heavy duty and there is a lot of weight hanging off the end. Wand does bend and arc. It is what it is. But I think the product is good value. ... show more
