As long as you don't have a heavy phone case on your phone then it will be fine, otherwise it does tend to start tipping over if your phone case is too heavy. I just use my phone on it without a case and it holds perfectly. The light is nice and bright and works great for me when recording my YouTube videos. I haven't had any issues. The quality of this light is great and it works really well for recording content. I’m only complaint is that it would be nice if the light could extend as far as the phone can. I have to extend the phone out so you don’t see the base while recording but the lighting isn’t overhead. That can make it a little tricky to get the right lighting. It also would be great if it came with a cube for the USB to plug in to or a charger so you aren’t limited to an AC outlet. It was easy to assemble and it is generally easy to use at a great price point.

This is a decent light for photography. I use it occasionally for filming, and it holds my phone securely while providing good lighting. However, there is one issue: when connected to a computer via USB, the light sometimes goes off. Despite that, it works well, and I generally like it.

Don't hesitate to buy this! What I love the most about this ring light phone holder is that you can reposition your phone in so many different angles. Everything on this stand is adjustable! I've been using it for a few months and couldn't be happier with it!

I had bought a light and phone holder off of an ad, it was spendy. It broke on the 3rd use and I was holding it together with duct tape. I bought this just hoping to hold me over until I could get something better… really, I wish I’d just bought this overhead ring light and cell phone holder first! It’s that good! The light and options are excellent, everything can be adjusted, and the base is heavy and sturdy. It’s a great price for a really great product! If you’re on the fence, just order it. I can now film my overhead craft videos at night when I don’t have natural light.

This selfie ring is sturdy with a good strong platform. What I don't like about it is the fact that you can't lower the light ring. The ring sits a good 2 feet above the stand, which makes the light ring too tall when sitting on my desk behind my computer. It works just fine when I'm using my phone and pointing them down. I wish the rod for the ring was adjustable like the phone rod.
