I purchased this item for the ring light to be used over a computer monitor to improve lighting during video calls. The ring light attaches to various stands and clamps with a fixed screw head. When I screwed it to the monitor clamp that came with the kit, at its tightest position the light didn't face directly outward, Thus, not allowing the light to cast onto my face, but rather off to one side of the monitor. When I loosened the screw so that the light cast forward, the ring would swivel during calls and require that I reposition it. I made a fix by inserting a washer to tighten the gap, but it took several attempts to find a washer that was the perfect thickness. It works great now, but for anyone having the same issue, a DIY fix will be necessary. ... show more

Bought this after a friend suggested it, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that this light met all my needs! Many USB cords are too short to work with my PC setup, but this one was plenty long and appears to be quite durable. Love the placement options and adjustability too. No complaints!

This is a great " bang for your buck" if you are looking for lighting in a cheap way! It was simple to put together, and the light has various soft white and yellow light settings... But be careful, you can blind yourself momentarily if you aren't careful! Between the tripod, c-clamps, phone holder, swivel attachment... it's got everything for any situation. Be aware that it is not sturdy plastic, so you need to be gentle on it like it's your infant. I use this for when I'm streaming and it is totally what I was looking for without giving an arm and leg.
