I used 3 drops mixed with my regular white body moisturizer for each area, and the application was very easy and even. I didn’t notice any streaks or patchiness. The scent is very light and subtle, which I really liked. I started noticing a little bit of color after about 2.5 hours, even though the recommended development time is at least 4 hours. The result looked natural and gave my skin a nice sun-kissed glow without looking orange. I also like that you can control the intensity by adjusting the number of drops. So far, I’m very happy with how easy it is to use and how even the color develops.

I used the Beauty By Earth self tanning drops in the shade Dark The good: • Easy to use — all you do is add a few drops to your moisturizer and apply to your skin • No bad scent — Unlike a lot of self-tanners, this one doesn’t reek! • Not sticky — I often find I feel sticky after I self tan, but once my lotion dries, I don’t with this one • No transfers — I didn’t stain anything while this self-tanner was developing • Not orange The bad: • Not as dark as I’d hoped — Even though I chose the darkest shade, it wound up not developing very dark at all, even on my extremely fair skin • Not a lot of staying power — Particularly on my face, the self-tanner doesn’t seem to want to stay, despite only using gentle products • Not a lot of product for the price if you use it on your whole body • Despite thoroughly washing my hands after applying, I’m still pretty stained between my fingers, which could be user error and avoided by wearing gloves • If you are not used to tanning without a guide color, you can miss spots if you don’t already know the places you commonly miss In short, this is a product I would use for refreshes in between tans/to keep my already-tanned skin looking glowy before I do my entire routine over again, or perhaps continued use for a gradual glow of my face/décolletage while continuing the use of my regular tanning mousse.

But these drops are absolutely amazing!I love that it is made with organic, natural ingredients, so I don't have to worry about breakouts or clogged pores. I just mix 2 to 3 drops into my regular nighttime moisturizer, and by the morning, I wake up with the most gorgeous, sun-kissed glow. It looks completely natural like I just spent a weekend at the beach. I am absolutely astonished with how incredibly well these drops work! You can tell that they just faintly add the perfect dash of color to your skin without making you look like you have a spray tan, bronzer on, or anything on for that matter. I love the fact that I can choose the level of darkness based on how many drops I add- to match if I have tanned the rest of my body, or if I just want a simple light natural glow and it develops in just 8 hours. Plus doesn’t require washing or leave a nasty smell. The scent is very faint, and for someone who has really bad sinuses, this does not bother me at all. I also have extremely sensitive skin, and by the grace of goodness, this did not break me out even in the slightest. There was absolutely zero transfer of color onto my white sheets, it did not even get into the knuckles on my hands, it was not greasy, and all I did was put 2 drops mixed into my normal face moisturizer before bed! As you see I did show the variation of 1, 2, and 3 drops on my arm with a 4 hour delay and an 8 hour delay- after the 8 hour mark it didn’t get much darker. This product just astonished me in so many ways! It is by far my new favorite!

I’m honestly really love these tanning drops! I’ve used self-tanning products before, but I wanted something that would give me a more natural glow without looking too orange or having that strong self tanner smell. I used the dark shade and started with just a few drops, and I loved the results and how easy it was to apply. The color developed into such a pretty, natural bronze and gave me that sun kissed look I was hoping for. Just look at my results! Get them!! You’ll love them year round! I also really love that it’s a clean, vegan-friendly product. The color was buildable too, so I can adjust how dark I want to go depending on the look I’m going for. I’ve tried many tan serums in my day and this one is my favorite. It smells good - sweet and tropical, in my opinion! It’s easily mixes into my everyday face moisturizer. I love that’s it’s buildable and works great for contouring too. Furthermore, it doesn’t have that orange hue when used for servals day in a row. I’ve been using it for just over a month now and would definitely buy again! I love having a healthy glow without the sun exposure.
