The description could have been better. This is just a glass door gasket. You have to remove the plate and then put it in. It is not for the seal for the actual door on the pellet stove. It was a bit confusing. I took it off, purchased the correct one and put it on the door and this one on the GLASS! The problem I have with this seller/product is that the rope/gasket was short 3-4 inches. I felt cheated, twice. I had to get the job done so I used it anyway, but it was not cool to cheat the customers. The description says a certain length and we were expecting that. I will need to do the door again and I don't have those extra inches to do another window /door glass replacement. ... show more
