This really changed the heat comiing out of our fierplace. The fierback really does help push heat out inot he room helping your fierplace warm up the room ten folds. Highly recommend.

Worth every penny! Really helps direct the heat into the room, can feel the heat about 6-8 foot from the fireplace. Looking to add little side ones now.

    • Works As Avertised
Size: 22 inch
The quality of this fireplace backplate is excellent, and I greatly appreciate that it came with cut legs as a sort of stand. The difference in heat output isn't quite as great as I'd expected, but there's certainly enough reflection that this was well worth the cost. It doesn't hurt that it also looks very nice-- certainly better than a bare brick back to a 1980's suburban fireplace. ... show more

    • Foot Stand Deformed Opening
One of the support legs has a deformed opening and the backplate cannot be inserted into the foot stand. This item is great otherwise, and it is extremely heavy so I would prefer not to return the entire item and would like to see if I can get a replacement foot stand.

    • Doesn’t get room hotter
Size: 26 inch
I was excited to get this because the back of our wood burning fireplace cracks constantly. Our room gets very warm with a fire, about 75 degrees, When we got this backing I loved the look of it. But when we had a fire our room only get up to 70 degrees. The fan couldn’t get to the back of the fireplace to draw all the heat out. We were able to easily return it so we greatly appreciated that ... show more

This was a Christmas present to a young man in his first bought home and he was thrilled with it. We are in a winter storm with record lows and he said these are helping tremendously to keep his home warm. Now I wish I had gifted myself too.

    • Chimney inspector said this was best quality & price
Size: 22 inch
The chimney sweep/ chimney inspector guy recommended this as a replacement to the one I had for about 10 years. The old one was cracked. These protect the back of your fireplace (the chimney sweep/ inspector calls it the firebox). He measured & said this was the best quality and price. It has worked great so far. It has 2 stands on bottom, which doesn’t work in my fire place. I burn wood & have many fires. Very, very, very heavy! ... show more
