This attachment allows for a more effective range of motion (compared to double-gripping the neck of the bar) on rowing exercises. Additionally, it helps target the traps more than the lats, which was a problem area for me as my home gym has no room for a lat pulldown (okay, and my form is bad). There was no setup involved, no fine tuning needed; I took it out of the box, threw it on the bar, locked it in place, and started rowing. The handgrips are a solid thickness and help get the forearms more involved. I haven't had it long enough to remark on the durability, but it's a heavy/solid feeling piece, and I'm assuming any eventual issues will be with the hinge and fixable with WD40. I bought this to do landmine rows and I've been very happy with it. It's very sold, and the rubber grips are comfortable and provide good grip. Also, the attachment loop on the back increases it's versatility by enabling me to add other handles - I've used a short T-bar for Sumo dead lifts as well.

So far so good . . . . . . . . . . . I haven't used it that long, but I do appreciate it has the additional slot for a 1" bar. We will see how it will hold up.

This really helps with my T-Bar workout doing lats. This really makes my grip a lot easier and I can lift more weight.

    • Solid handle, thick grip.
Very solid feel, heavier than expected. Like the thicker grip. I don't really think the set screw is necessary, but it's there if you want it not to rotate between sets.
