    • Versatile, well made, great price
The lever arms arrived, on time, well packaged, and defect free. The lever arms are very well made, and substantial. There is some assembly required attaching the handles and weight plate mounts. Both items mount on either side of the arms, and utilize the same hardware. The lever arms have multiple mounting points for the handles/weight plate mounts providing flexibility based on the physical size of the user. The arms mount to the vertical portion of your rack; they fit 2" x 2" uprights with a 1" opening. They are secured to the rack via an easily removable threaded rod. I rated the arms a 5, even though there are some features not present, found on other arms. However since the arms are less than half the price of their nearest competitor, it is understandable that some features may not be incorporated. The arms of the jammer arms are much longer than most, again providing good flexibility depending on use. The ability to mount the handles anywhere on the arms gives good flexibility to the arms. The handles are comfortable, and provide multiple hand locations when using. The weight plate holders are designed for 2" centered plates. One feature that appears quite unique at this price level is the arm movement. Most arms simply go up and down. These arms have a ball joint where it attaches to the rack providing movement up and down as well as side to side providing a smooth comfortable motion. Looking at other lever arms, some have the ability to establish a starting point, so the starting angle can be set. These arms, when not in use point straight down, so when doing an incline press for instance, getting started is more difficult. Solutions to this are easy to establish. Some arms have the ability to easily move up and down the vertical upright on your rack. These arms require you to physically move them making supersetting different workouts a little more difficult. These arms require that the weight plate holder be mounted directly opposite the handles using the same hardware. Other arms have the ability to offset the mountings. None of these are deal breakers. Looking on line, there are a multitude of exercises that you can do with these arms, more that I ever imagined. These arms can mimic multiple major pieces of gym equipment.     • Good concept
These arms are all over the place right now. The concept is good. They attach to an existing rack and attempt to provide an equivalent movement/motion/exercise as a chest press machine. With the multi-directional ball-joint these arms provide, the intention is to allow that equivalency to work across any type of rack. However, the implementation, from my stand point, results in very awkward movement. Despite how close I can get the handles and push, the resistance path just seems off. This could be due to the length of the arms, which are quite long. I've had to put the handles very far up, leaving the curve of the path shortened. Other small issues, the way the bolts are attached for the handle (per instructions), it does leave the ends out to damage any weights you put on. This means using anything like rubber bumper plates can cause large gouges. I believe this is really not an issue if you simply reverse the bolts so the head is on the outside. Also, make sure to use clamps. Due to the ball-joint, it is extremely easy for these to rotate in and let the weights drop off, which is not an issue for normal chest press machines. Overall, I believe the build quality is fine, the assembly is easy, and the possibility this gives is good. However, I just don't believe this will be a common used accessory in my routine. ... show more

    • Heavy duty!
These Adjustable Lever Arms are a nice addition to my power rack/cage. Easy to install, the lever arms are adjustable to different lengths which help target different areas. My son especially likes doing standing chest presses that he does at his school gym and now he can continue doing the same movements when he's working out at home. The lever arms articulate smoothly in two directions, vertically & horizontally. Mounting the arms to the cage is simple, using the same holes on the cage as the J-hooks and spotters. I haven't verified how much weight they can handle, but each side can easily hold 2-3 Olympic plates, definitely more (I just can't lift THAT much!). I love that these lever arms add more exercises to my routine so I can get a lot more done with my power rack. Great product, highly recommended! ... show more

    • Good jammers
This is the 4th Selware product That I own now. So far, everything has been great quality. These jammer arms are no exception. They don't have some of the features that some of the other arms have. That isn't a big deal to me. These don't have a quick position change trolley. These also don't have a quick change handle system. They are however, just excellent quality jammer arms at a very reasonable price. The articulating joint at the attachment point is a feature that most don't have. I like that feature a lot. I am not stuck in one plane of motion. I have somewhat modified mine to fit my use. These have the handle and the plate loading pin bolted directly opposed to one another on the arm. I can take care of that quickly. I went to the hardware store, purchased 8 bolts and 8 wing nuts. Now I can set the handles anywhere I want, while having the loading pins somewhere else on the jammer arms, higher, lower or directly opposed. Works for me. This is a 5 star product.
