I was kind of skeptical when purchasing this watch, as I never owned an SKX, and a GMT for under $500 seemed too good to be true. Boy was I wrong, this watch has exceeded every one of my expectations and is a phenomenal value for money. I know Seiko can often be a hit or a miss when it comes to bezel and chapter ring alignment, bit this one was perfect. The accuracy is also well within Seiko's advertised standards for this movement. Mine is roughly 12 to 14 seconds fast per day, which is more than acceptable for me. The bracelet was ok, but I personally prefer to wear this on straps. I just started getting into watches. I chose this watch because it's fashionable and looks great. I have a 6.5-inch wrist and it fits perfectly because the lug-to-lug distance is only 46mm. I didn't like the fact that it doesn't come with a sapphire crystal so I changed it to one with out a magnifying window. The mod was easy and I recommend doing this if you want it to be scratch-proof. The bracelet is also decent and it's not something you need to replace unless you want to use a strap. The OG of the new affordable GMTs w/ 4R34 (NH34) movements, now coming online. Random observations: 1. If the Amazon vendor is not a Seiko A.D. (some are) you’ll likely get a blank unstamped warranty card, which means not covered by Seiko USA’s 3-yr warranty. I’ve never found this to be a problem as the many Seiko I’ve owned have held up essentially forever. If you’re fine paying full retail, might as well buy from an A.D. seller on Amazon. 2. Interestingly, no more instruction booklet provided. In the unlikely event you need help using your watch, it’s downloadable from the Seiko USA support page. The manual states “The telephone time signal service is helpful for setting the seconds hand exactly.” How retro. 3. The blue one’s dial’s “sunburst” is subtle & not as pronounced as with, say, a blue Orient Ray II. 4. The back-end of the seconds hand (with the lollipop lume dot) is painted black, a nice touch. 5. It’s not a dive watch! It’s a travel watch. “10 Bar” (100m), so a dunking or splash is fine, but no snorkeling or extended swimming. 6. Supplied “jubilee-style” bracelet is fine (solid end links, nice enough finish & clasp) but unless you’re Popeye, you’ll need to resize it, and it uses pins/collars. I’m wearing it on a NATO. 7. Because of the slightly thicker movement and exhibition caseback, if on a NATO will wear a bit higher on the wrist, compared to say the SKX you’re upgrading from. 8. Buttery-smooth manual winding. No gritty feel at all. 9. Spec’d at +45/-35s/day, mine’s doing considerably better. YMMV. 10. An overall great value in a megabrand GMT! ... show more

What a beautiful piece of work by SEIKO. Thoroughly in love with the jubilee. On top of that JBD trading is doing a marvellous job of selling it at such an affordable price bracket. The delivery though is not very efficient. Amazon took more than a week to deliver it within the US.
