With broad angular lines and such vintage details as box-shaped crystals, faceted indices and sharp hand design, plus the use of neutrals and earth tones, the Style ’60s collection creates a warm, retro feel perfect for today. Celebrating the fresh spirit of the 1960s, the collection takes particular inspiration from Seiko’s 1964 “Crown Chronograph,” Japan’s first watch with a stopwatch function. The black open-aperture dial, featuring a 24-hour subdial and beige Lumi-Brite hands and markers, offers a view of the 24-jewel movement, which beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, providing a power reserve of approximately 41 hours and manual winding capability. Crafted of stainless steel, this distinctive timepiece includes a screwdown see-through caseback and tri-fold push button release clasp. Water-resistant to 50 meters.

    • Beautiful watch, be careful with band adjustment. You need specialized tools.
Beautiful piece of jewelry. The band is a bit of a trick to adjust the links to size due to the pin and collar pins versus the old cotter pin style. Pretty much have to get the tool kit with the press extractor, and you’d better have a clear , flat area to work because that tiny collar can disappear quickly, and you can’t get replacements on Amazon. In fact you pretty much have to go to a Seiko jeweler, or you can find them online for about $25 each. Seiko only sells them to authorized dealers in sets of 5. I got this as a gift for my son and he loves it. The description says leather strap. That is obviously incorrect, but the watch would still be elegant with a leather strap. ... show more
