My new favorite watch. I'd been looking for something with a bit of vintage Air King or Grand Seiko 9F look and this will definitely scratch that itch. Time keeping is perfect and the second hand hits the markers well. This watch is supremely comfortable and the bracelet was very easy to size myself. Yes, the bracelet rattles, but this is only noticeable when taking the watch on or off. On wrist, you're good to go. Sapphire crystal and 100m water resistance for under $150. Incredible. Plus it's made by probably the greatest watch maker on Earth. This is a strong candidate for the best value watch period. That dial. So clean and elegant. Mesmerizing. Looks like a four figure watch all day long. The presence of Lumibrite hands and indexes is welcome as is the very legible and framed date window. Makes for a very versatile everyday piece. It's certainly on the dressier side, but sporty enough to wear with most clothes. There are titanium versions of this same watch for a fair bit more money, but I don't know why you'd want those. It's already very light and stainless steel looks just looks better at this price. Final thought: just buy it and enjoy. I know a lot of people hate quartz watches, but this one just might change their minds!

For $166 plus tax, great buy! Always wanted a Seiko. I tried some citizens in the 90s, but I was on a budget & they didn't last. I love Casino digital watches (got a few, didn't need a watch), but their analog watches should be skipped in my experience. Timex is a no, the old jingle is a lie. I should be able to rock this Sieko to the grave at 55 yo, simple, classy, not doing too much. I like the contura but that's $450 on the Seiko website (might treat myself one day, but it's not worth another $300 - quartz model) and this is the choice for those who have no need to impress, for those who have it and not trying to get it or convince others we got it when we don't. You've arrived here's your understated time piece! Paid $7 plus tip to have three links taken out 40mm ok 35/36mm would have been better, any bigger is too much. I got it at a great price point but it's worth a little more if you really want it, the price made it irresistible, as I kept seeing it. Eventually pulled the trigger, then the price went up. Fully satisfied.

I was lucky to snag this watch in "Used - Like New" condition for a much lower price around $120. Be sure to check other sellers and prices before pulling the trigger on the $200+ price tag. The watch appeared to be brand new and never worn with all original packaging and paperwork. The bracelet is actually decent in my opinion, hollow end links but it looks nice on wrist and easy enough to resize. This watch is pretty snazzy on the bracelet but I opted to dress it down for a more casual look with a brown leather nato strap and to me it's the chef's kiss. The silver dial and 20mm lug width gives you endless possibilities for changing straps. The dial is truly stunning in person, very expensive looking and paired with the sapphire crystal to ensure it stays looking nice. It's rare to find sapphire on a Seiko at this price point. The lume is very bright as well, making a nice pop of green even in the daytime in the right lighting as seen in my photo. If you can find this in the low $100 range it's a steal for such a versatile grab-and-go quartz watch that every collection needs!

Watch is great, amazing really, the polished and brushed finish makes it look 10 times it's price. Dial also is stunning. Is a really slim watch, that for what i was looking is great, but i get some may dislike this feature. I recommend to inmidiatly change the bracelet, is no good by any means and you can elevate the watch with a cheap leather or other kind of strap. Specific to my buy, the watch came a little scratched on the bezel, making me think this is a returned watch. I think is one of the risk of ordering from gray market. Even then, this is a great piece worth buying.

I had a Seiko solar for almost 10 years (purchased from Amazon) and it began stopping for no apparent reason before restarting.Believing it needed a new capacitor, the local jeweler shipped it to Seiko for repair and was told that the repair was extensive and would cost $200, $10 more than the watch retailed for. I decided then to replace it with a simpler and nicely-discounted quartz watch and ordered the Seiko SUR307. Contrary to what a previous reviewer posted, I easily registered the watch on the Seiko USA site. Find the warranty page and follow the instructions (Amazon will not allow URLs). I bought my watch from Amazon, not a third party, and the watch is genuine, not fake as that reviewer claimed. The watch looks great, is very accurate, the 40mm dial sits well on a 7-inch wrist, and the sapphire crystal is a nice bonus. The metal bracelet looks good, though it can rattle a bit, and I have ordered some 20mm leather straps for a different look on occasion. All in all, I’m very satisfied with the purchase.

I was worried because of a review I read that this watch is a fake. The reviewer based this assumption on the fact that he could not successfully register it with Seiko. Well, I had the same problem so I called Seiko and they assured me that Amazon sold me the real thing. I also thought is was too good to be true. A beautiful Seiko with a sapphire crystal for $131? I couldn’t believe it myself, but it is true. A sapphire crystal was a prerequisite for me. They’re nearly indestructible and they rarely come with an economically priced watch if ever. Btw, I’ve only had this watch (sur307) for about two weeks now and the price has gone up from $131 to $199 on Amazon. They’re $250 from Seiko. The only cons that I have to note here are that the illumination even after being in direct sunlight for a while lasts for only a very short time. In fact, after a few minutes it fades to nothing. That’s in the dark of course, but in the light, the sunburst face and the silver hands force you to look rather closely in certain environments to see the time. I only mention those cons as a matter of fact, not as a major problem. I love this watch and highly recommend it.

This SEIKO delivers a great bargain with sapphire crystal and great accuracy! Accuracy While the quartz movement is "cheap", the Japanese movement has been keeping exact time for me. All of my prior quartz watches run about a 1/2 second fast per day. I suppose YMMV on this one but I have been pleasantly surprised! Design Very happy to have the light silver dial with the faint sunburst effect! For me, the silver makes the dial appear slightly more modern versus an all white dial. I have always been a fan of the sword hands, and the precision implied by the design of the hands fits the accuracy of this watch! The metal bracelet does not feel of a high quality, but I don't think it looks too bad. That being said, I replaced the bracelet with a brown leather strap. Overall For me, definitely worth the price and my new daily watch. Unless I go back to a fitness watch (e.g., Apple Watch or Fitbit), I cannot see replacing this one for most occasions. Exactly what I was looking for and more.

This Seiko SUR307 was picked up for a steal-of-a-price at $118USD for a listed condition of “Used, Like New”. Sure as well, this Seiko looks like it was never worn! It came with the original Seiko box and pillow, along with the original retail tag and manual. With a sapphire crystal, and an after market leather strap (20mm Barton Alligator Grain Leather Strap) this watch is the perfect dress watch that you will not be afraid to wear. My wrist measure 6.5” and this 40mm Seiko rests appropriately. I am very pleased with this addition to my collection. If you can find this Seiko in the mid to high $100s, do yourself a favor and pick this up.
